I just suffered through an hour of trying out Zoo Warlock so that you guys don't have to.

Verdict: it sucks but maybe if they get better ways to buff minions it'll be okay. You can summon tons of tokens but the best you can do is buff them +1/1.

Just spent most of today making decks to finally beat the Lich King with all 9 classes. There weren't many guides so it was fun trying to build decks instead of just copying codes off the internet like I normally do.

I kept it Standard for everything except Rogue and Mage. Rogue needed Flik to deal with the 2/6 souls and Mage was basically impossible without the kabal lackey, copy secret, and platebreaker.

I contemplated making a guide on Reddit after I was done but I decided it was too much effort.

If anyone needs any help with that still though let me know and I can assist.

I think a Marvel game from NRS needs to be either an arena brawler like Powerstone or closer to Smash. I don't want to see Marvel in IJ2 style and I definitely don't want to see NRS try to do MVC style.

Nah it was just a slightly more proactive deck with buffs, primordial protectors, and Kazakus. It was going okay until he played cascading into Tickatus. That's basically just a deck to beat priests and nothing else.

Decide to try out a new Priest deck I see on reddit and run into literal day 1 control warlock running Y'Shaarj and Tickatus.

Honestly I'm not even sure he was running any cards from this expansion.

I was really disappointed in this movie for all of the reasons mentioned above. I understand that Cole was studio mandated but they could have actually made him cool instead of whatever they did with him. His arcana being rock armor and knives was pretty lame. Also lol at all of the characters walking through the desert in combat/tactical gear and he's literally wearing jeans and a t-shirt. Just give him some personality and make him cool!

Okay I've unlocked all of the tainted characters except Tainted Lost and I think I'm finally starting to lose interest again. Probably got about 20 or 30 hours out of the update which is good enough for me.

I had a run with that challenge where I had poison farts active item with 0 cooldown. It was kinda fun just spamming poison farts through every room but it didn't do much damage to bosses.

Second shift is annoying because if you wake up at a normal time like 9 or 10 then you have this dumb chunk of time where you can't really do anything because you have to go to work in a few hours.

To get around that I would just stay up until like 5AM and sleep in until I had to go to work but it doesn't feel great waking up at 2PM on the weekends. It feels extra bad when it's the winter in Chicago and the sun sets at 4:30PM. You basically only got 2 hours of seeing the sun with that schedule.

After like 4 hours yesterday I finally unlocked The Forgotten. Azazel with flaming ludovico allowed me to dodge while I just planted it on bosses. Still barely made it though!

I watched my dad slowly financially destroy my mom after they got divorced to the point where she had to move 2 states away when I was 12. They had an agreement too and that shit is useless when the person in power decides they want more.

As someone who has seen his mom about 5 times in the last 20 years maybe don't rule out doing whatever you can if you want a relationship with your kid.

Having to spend 20 mana across 4 separate cards to shuffle a card into your deck that then costs 10 mana to play when you finally draw it isn't exactly a stable win condition

Tell that to my C'thun Highlander Rogue from 2016!

The original C'thun makes me think the spells just needed to be better for this concept to work. Although who knows if the original C'thun package would work in 2021 either. Probably not

I just did a Lilith greed run where I got the battery that charges when you do damage, the seraphim familiar, meat, and GUILLOTINE. I had no item that Lilith's active item also dupes guillotine so I had like 15 heads floating around my body, and 15 of every familiar.

Greed boss melted in like 20 seconds even with his damage reduction.

Then the coin machine broke after 4 coins on a 2% chance and I had 50 left to give

The wiki says that they haven't been implemented yet but I agree that's weird. Maybe the dev is planning an update/release with super secret stuff so that it doesn't get datamined immediately but if that were the case I'm not sure why the wiki would know that.

My first new match was against libram Paladin and I actually gasped when he used pen flinger to kill two of my minions.

I almost won but I was playing Celestial Druid and I spent the first 5 turns doing nothing so it was too hard to come back.

Think I'm just going to stick to control now and see how it goes.

I played it last year and thought it was great. I play pretty much every Metroidvania I can find and this one was in the top 5 for me. My only critique is that the ending feels a little rushed like they ran out of money or something but otherwise it was a good experience.

Am i the only person who thinks Lunacy to 4 is not a big enough nerf.

I also think it's not a big enough nerf but we'll see I guess. Skipping turn 4 is usually a lot worse than skipping turn 2 though.

Gut reaction is that Paladin is still going to be too strong but after some thought I think that the penflinger nerf really hurts a lot of their libram control style decks.

You can actually guarantee the next deal room will be an angel room by completely skipping the first devil room now. It still doesn't guarantee a deal but if you DO get a deal it will 100% be an angel room. You just can't enter the devil room at all and the next one will be angel room.

Yeah there have been a lot of "FINAL" updates but this one does actually seem to be the last update. The amount of content has basically tripled since Rebirth and tripled might be an understatement.

No surprises here with mage or paladin. Control Warlock sucks (but still nerf Tickatus plz) and my prediction that Celestial Druid will take over the ladder was comically bad because they're saying it's sitting at 30% winrate.

I only played about 30 games but I never lost a game so miserably that the 30% number makes any sense to me. Of course 30 games is basically nothing compared to the data these reports get but I'm still suspicious of that number.

Yeah the current normal mode feels like the hard mode I'm used to in the past versions. Current hard mode is very hard.

Mother keeps wrecking my shit. Last run I had shielded pee scythes and still couldn't get past the first phase. Also maybe it's just me but I find the process of building the knife to be a little monotonous. Really wish I didn't have to keep doing that every run.
