To simply things, this will benefit the artists (or the corporations who own/license them), the consumer who doesn't give a shit about cryptos and just wants to buy digital art (the NFTs, which, in turn, became their own type of crypto), and the behind-the-scenes coin market where OMI is bought and sold and converted into Gems, which are the currency of the app. that consumers use to buy the NFT collectibles. This was designed to be idiot-friendly so that if all you care about is buying the digital holograms and other NFTs, you can do that. If all you want to do is invest in the coins and buy and sell those, you can do that. Etc. You can enter into NFTs from the NFT side, the coin/tech side, or both. NFTs are basically just a crypto that happen to also be digital art. Imagine if you play a game like World of Warcraft and killing a raid boss has a chance to drop a rare NFT, which you can then sell on a secondary market if you want or just add it to your collection. --- |

If it crashes and burns, I'll take the L. However, if it hits even a little bit, I'll be getting crazy returns on my 108,753.24 coins. If it makes it to even 1 cent, my total equity will rise to $1,087.53. If OMI hits 10 cents per coin, my total equity balloons to $10,875.324. If it hits $1, I'll have $108,753.24 in coins. And so on and so on. Some people think it could easily hit $100, which would raise my total equity in the coin to $10,875,324. The biggest criticism against Dogecoin is that it's a meme coin that doesn't do anything, which isn't entirely true since more and more companies are announcing that they are accepting Dogecoin as payment. However, if Doge does crash, I see NFTs as a decent hedge against that since NFTs actually have applicable uses and are backed by giant corporations and a ton of artists, athletes, etc. I'm going to hold onto these OMI for a long time. --- |
