I can second that recommendation. Played through it last year when it was still in early access, and it's a very solid roguelite. The only drawback, is that late game, it becomes extremely easy (or was when I played it) to cheese it and acquire every relic in a single run. Since money carries over between runs, you get to the point where you are buying out every item in every shop without even worrying. There is a different mode that you can unlock though, that plays more like a roguelike, and strips away all of your upgrades, randomizing your starting loadout. Iirc, it also randomizes the order of the levels too, so adds some decent challenge once you start getting bored of the normal mode. --- |

I can't say what it's like to play though it does look interesting. From what I've heard, it can be very brutal with some of the interactions. Like, you can have a character that is too full to eat, and then starve to death because they can't eat anything.
