It's just my recording settings. When I record for an hour it takes up approximately 15 GB. Maybe it's just inefficient and I don't need to have such high quality for a Switch game, lol.

Oh, do you have access to the Phoenix Wright games? GAA has no plot relation with PW so you can play it without playing PW but PW is more beginner friendly since they're shorter and snappier and the cases are more straightforward. GAA is actually a lot about subverting the common tropes in the original PW games and also longer.

Yeah, I also bought the PW trilogy on Switch, so they're there whenever I'm ready for them.

Jast is the translation company, not the original writers. the company name you're looking for is nitroplus. that said, I think jast is the only company that's translated nitroplus games(?? could be wrong here) and also even within a company there's multiple writers and directors and stuff so there's no guarantee something else from them will be too similar

I really like the presentation of the final choice and the scene leading up to it, it's so cool.

if you haven't yet, I recommend opening up the game again and idling on the title screen, which eventually plays the opening movie. also check out the gallery in the extras menu. well, and of course, if you didn't notice, look at the new title on the title screen :p

Ah right, Jast was the translation, lol. I don't think I showed it on the video, but off-screen I did view the opening movie. IIRC it changes so that it only has the girl you chose at the end, right? I don't think I tried the new game thing, but I assume it just plays the ending you chose again, since I read you have to reset the files or something in order to be able to start fresh.

Set aside some time to watch this one, it's the finale. We come up to the final choice: do we, as the player, disconnect from Shinichi and choose to be with Aoi...or resume the role of player character and be with Miyuki? I think the choice is obvious for me after what happened, but...

Since this is the finale, I'll give my thoughts. I really liked this VN! Quite a slow burn before things got interesting but the characters were believable and well-written for the most part. I can see the influence DDLC got from this game. Miyuki was my favorite of the two girls until...well, shit hit the fan. Either way, really good and lengthy VN and I'll definitely keep an eye on other ones this company has made. Jast, I believe? Of course, I've got plenty of others I still want to play through, but that'll be for later.

lol Advance 1 might be OK and that's it. rest you mentioned is bad.

The only one on the Advance series that might be remotely bad is Advance 2 since it's hold right to win, but the level design still offers plenty of alternate routes and the controls are solid.

Secret Rings sucked too. I remember it got fairly decent reviews but ... how? The controls are a nightmare when you first start playing and even though you can unlock better controls ... why the fuck do you have to unlock better controls lmao

I think it was only highly regarded because it was only marginally better than the dumpster fires that were Sonic '06 and Shadow the Hedgehog. (though IMO Shadow wasn't that bad gameplay-wise)

I hated it though, the controls sucked.

Simply put, shower when you feel it's necessary.

For me I take one like, every other day. If I don't have to go to work and/or am not going out much, I sometimes go a bit longer than that. But generally I don't feel it necessary to shower daily.

There's a few that are more linear than others. Other M and Fusion are extreme examples, and the Metroid Prime games have been consistently updated on re-releases to try to stop sequence breaking.

Metroid II and its remake can be examples of linear Metroid games as well, but still offer a lot of exploration within the areas and don't really offer you much of any guidance.

like obviously the resolution and frames are nicer but Kaines face looks so much softer and waifu-y and theres a slight reduction in visual style

not on the level of Destroy All Humans or DeS but still a bit of an upset

Eh...now we're getting into stuff I don't particularly agree with. I enjoyed tons of PS4 games with FFVIIR and God of War being top contenders, but Switch also offers a bunch of great games to play as well. Xenoblade 2 had me hooked for 400+ hours, Astral Chain was a lot of fun, Smash Ultimate is pretty much the best Smash Bros. game to me now, Mario Odyssey was pretty fun too.

Yeah, that's probably why the retcon/explanation in MGSV worked.

For my example, I've got Xenoblade 2. It's sort of a soft retcon. Xenoblade 1 showed that Klaus destroyed the universe and rebuilt it, while Xenoblade 2 shows that Klaus just destroyed the Earth and created a brand new universe (Xenoblade 1) tied to the Conduit he used to do such an experiment. I think this actually helps the story overall and deepens the connections among future Xenoblade games due to multiverse implications.
