Over 2/3 of the reported were fully vaccinated. The biggest take away from that is wash your hands and wear a mask, even if you have been vaccinated. But since the rates of infection and other rates were also equal, maybe stop harassing people who haven't had a shot since it doesn't actually protect you from the Delta variant anyways. It's more accurate to say it has been contained and there have been no new infections in x amount of time because that is accurate and true. If you stop for a minute and logically think about what you posted, you will eventually realize it is impossible to logically reconcile something being eradicated (meaning zero instances of it exist) with the cold hard truth that there are vials of the stuff that absolutely exist (meaning more than one instance exists failing that logic check). The other stuff is just semantics. I get that people don't actually post this stuff to think but rather have their views reinforced... But maybe search your viewpoints more honestly before inflicting your will upon others (the chilling implications of this thread). Most first world nations have samples in isolation because they understand that you can't actually "eradicate" an virus you can only mitigate risk and contain it. Identifying Polio carriers properly was a large part of dealing with the problem. The current day issue is a perceived need to bother healthy and well people while neglecting to restrict the movement of people who are actually infected.
