Its fine to just dismiss the criticisms cause it gets harder to defend choices of the game but enjoyment of said choices is always subjective.

The very beginning just doesnt seem very fun. There's not enough new abilities early enough and the items you do find fail to escalate the game or create the burning desire to play on. As the confusing map and game world gets bigger, enthusiasm fades as you wander around aimlessly, dreading backtracking rather than relishing it.

Im glad to try it but ill leave it at that. Theres just too many games in this style to waste time on one im not enjoying.

All the stuff you're talking about are intentional design decisions. Again I can see why you wouldn't like it but for some of us it's an important part of what forms the game's overall aesthetic

Copyright claim seems a bit shaky to me. A better company would have fought it in the interest of establishing precedent for its users, but I guess Ubi isn't doing the level builder anymore after FC5 so maybe they don't care

I like it in context. Checking your map means your dude is literally holding it up and looking at it, so you can't do it while jumping or swimming and it doesn't stop time. Updating your map requires you to find a bench because your dude needs to draw it. Placing markers requires you to have markers to place. It's just subtle little immersion things, I get why you wouldn't like them but to me it adds to the charm of the game.

Well first and foremost, those people don't own the street. They have no legal recourse against you for parking there. However, if this is a neighborhood then I get where they're coming from. It feels like your space is being encroached upon when someone else parks their car in front of your house. If you know this bothers them, parking somewhere else is just the decent thing to do.

It sucks and all, but she wasnt out on probation, she was out because of the pandemic. That means stricter requirements and she should have known that when that number pops up it's priority 1. Being out of prison 8 years early was a privilege

RDR2 for me. I know it wasnt everyone's bag but it pretty much surpassed every single expectation I had for it. It was so good it made me like RDR1 less.
