I have no idea what kind of shit they play at Lollapalooza now but 20 years ago, they'd have "fit" right in with the mishmash of styles in the lineup.

Still can't believe people are getting nostalgic about them of all acts but I guess if you liked them, you liked them.

Not a damn thing!

Personally, sauerkraut is my least favorite of the traditional got dog condiments/toppings with onions not being too far behind.

For me, real mayo, some kind of mustard (I'm not overly picky), and pickle slices are all that I want on a hot dog.

Not sure why people are talking about Aaron Rodgers's "day job." He was gunning hard for the Jeopardy gig, and his quarrel with the Packers is well known.
Perhaps it's because until he formally retires from the league, he's still an NFL quarterback, contract dispute or not. If he gets the full time Jeopardy gig and retires from the league, then I'll reasses what his primary vocation is.

I didn't see Bialik's episodes but I thought Aaron Rodgers and Robin Roberts' more casual approach to it was endearing. Wouldn't be bothered if either of them were brought back though neither is likely to abandon their "day job," at least not immediately.

I'm a supporter of the idea that people in custody don't need to be murdered by law enforcement. I didn't need a movement to put a thought into my head.

The only thing I've ever wanted from BLM is for them to address the lack of accountability for Black on Black murders that plagues nearly every inner city in America. Police agencies murdering people in cold blood is abhorrent and deserves every ounce and thought of protest that can be mustered.......but so is waking up every day to hear that the local homicide rate has climbed again because of a civilian murder in a "black neighborhood." There are thousands of people in this country trying to get justice for THOSE victims and they need a bigger voice. Why not help them? Is that not also saving the lives of Black Americans?

Yeah, his arms just didn't have the strength to get the ball in the basket

It's really kind of crazy because the whole point of a "superteam" is that one guy isn't supposed to carry that large of a burden but with Irving injured and Harden being his typical playoff choking self (can't be the hamstring since, like Durant, he didn't leave the court tonight)

Durant went down fighting and whatever you can say about him being whatever he is off the court, on the court he's an absolute monster and despite his team going home, they only made it that far because he carried them there

It wasn't a pretty game but guys like Holiday and Middleton who struggled a lot for most of the game really came through in the last 10 minutes of game time, which took the pressure off of the talented yet exceptionally one dimensional Giannis Antetokuonmpo

Ha! I remember that show.

IIRC, it came along a couple of years after that random ass MC Hammer cartoon show (seeing mention of Super Dave's cartoon made me think of other celeb toons)

Also, while not really a "celebrity toon" insofar as likenesses go, the big marketing point of "C-Bear and Jamal" was that the eponymous teddy bear was voiced by noted rapper Tone Loc.

Braceface
I forget what it was called but that one cartoon with the robot guy constantly cloaking himself as a blue-haired? dude while trying to escape capture with the help of some lady
Also another show that was very similar in theming to Kung Fu Panda but wasn't that, a bunch of animals with martial art skills and maybe some elemental powers?
I remember those three. They were all oddly endearing.

About a decade or so ago, Jacob Two Two aired on the Qubo programming block along with shows like Marvin the Tap Dancing Horse and Jane & the Dragon (greatest expository opening ever btw)

Oddly enough, late night/early morning the same network aired a few early 80s cartoons like the aforementioned Ghostbusters (the one with the gorilla), Bravestar, and the infinitely more renowned He-Man and the Masters of the Universe, as well as its spinoff series She-Ra: Princess of Power.

Good bit of nostalgia tripping at 2am

The only problematic thing that I can think of with this is that it's almost exclusively 2-lane highways that are often racked by flooding during the winter and spring. When that happens, you have to detour and some of those can be a motherfucker when the next interstate is upwards of an hour out of the away. Outside of being narrow as hell, it's really not bad under normal conditions.
