You're projecting your prejudice onto the developers, and then having a melty when asked what statements by the developer made you come to that conclusion.

More than likely the actual reason is because there's a time skip between games.

The original game was set 974 years after the old ones fell.

In a trailer for FW Ally says it's been 1000 years since the old ones fell. So that would make it a 26 year difference between games, and she is middle aged in FW.

Its blatantly obvious she isnt 50 years old in that trailer.
