Both series had several games released by separate companies with nothing to do with each other long before one company owned both of them and any sort of shared lore was possible. I worked at a label factory for a few months. It was boring as hell. All of my coworkers were the kind of obnoxious stupid white dudes who think screaming racial epithets is the height of comedy. They tried to pull the mandatory overtime 6 10 hour days a week bullshit on us and I just stopped showing up. Got into healthcare and never looked back. Still sucks but at least I don't work with fucking rednecks.

It's a major problem in pharmacy. At this point we actively tell people to go somewhere else because we're not allowed to have enough people on shift to actually count and sell prescriptions. Who knows what you're getting in your pill bottle because nobody has enough time to count and check what you're getting. You're a complete fool if you get drugs from any chain pharmacy.

Woohoo! Love that this series has gotten the legs to continue on. I always loved Battlebots but the current incarnation has been excellent with so many bots capable of actual competition and destruction.

Yeah it was long and boring. It wasn't hard, I was never in danger of losing, but even knowing how to do it the fight takes forever. Several of the bosses in the game are like that, not really hard just fucking tedious. Count me on the side of not really liking FF7 Remake part 1. The fun was there and leaked out sometimes, but over and over the game clamped down with horrible pacing and drawn out bullshit and just ruined everything.

Start over on Very Hard, the game is piss easy even on hard. Not even a git gud kinda thing, if you do any work building your character, which you will because it's a combat focused RPG, you'll roll over everything. Very Hard at least gives some of the hard enemies enough HP to take you out of autopilot. I actually gave up playing a mage on hard on the 360 because it was too boring, every single combat encounter could be handled in a few button presses and I never even got hit.

The game is glitchy as fuck, which is bad but also extremely faithful to the original. >__>

I only once used frozen pee and I went straight from the freezer to submerging. There's gonna be lots of bacteria either way, that doesn't matter. The urine tests are very narrow in what they look for so they're cheap. The tests that could actually tell if the urine is anything but fresh are expensive lab tests so no companies use them.

I definitely wouldn't microwave anything that's getting tested, you might damage the sample. I like hot tap water because you know it won't get too hot.

I always just bought PUKs that came with a little warmer and a vial with a thermometer on it. Then I'd get a cup of hot water, submerge and remove until it's the right temp, and slap on the heater.

Dude was always great lighting up the dark ass caves of Oblivion without you having to swap shit in your inventory constantly. He'd only rarely draw aggro but when he did he'd take off running and sometimes draw away some enemies.

My favorite part is how Shep's interesting powers are completely nerfed in the single player mode to conform with multiplayer in the third game of a single player RPG trilogy. Or how you have fewer selectable squadmates and the game parades you around to the unselectable ones to show that they're in the game, but fuck you not really. Or how the missions that aren't the good ones, which are damned good and some of the best in the series, are random spawns on multiplayer maps done more lazily than playing with fucking bots in Unreal Tournament.

Fuck Mass Effect 3. The lazy ending stole the shit spotlight, but it's far from the only way the game is a disappointment of Daikatana proportions.

Super fun game. If I could go back in time one of my destinations would be to stand in front of the Gamestop I traded it in for peanuts and mug myself for it. Especially because it was a mint copy and those are expensive AF.

Combat is super luck based with hit locations and random skill procs and you're always very outnumbered so things can go tits up quick. If I remember correctly it's super important that you get to learning skills for your guys ASAP because the more you have the more chance per turn one or more goes off and vastly increases your damage. Also burn the range at which you aggro enemies into your brain, I think it's like 8 spaces? It's super important you keep as few enemies as possible involved in the fight as you can above anything else.

There actually aren't all that many battles, too, if I remember correctly. Like it's not a short game, but it's not like FFT where you end up in multiple hundreds of fights. A lot of the game is the in-game internet stuff so jump right in. The localization was actually incredible for the time it came out, which means it's only meh today.

I had a friend who was really good at it so the drumbeat/retching sound of massive combo hits is burned into my head. I was so happy when the pizza place at the mall switched it out for an X-Men vs. Street Fighter cabinet, which I was much better at.
