Don't get me wrong, if a man's dream was for a Pokemon-themed wedding and it is truly important to him, then he needs to say something. There is nothing wrong with happy wife/happy life as a philosophy. It just has to be matched by her having a happy husband/happy life philosophy.

Relationships are all about give and take, compromise, putting their needs before your own and in turn them doing the same for you. If the relationship ever goes all-take/no-give from one of the parties, it breaks down.

For many men, the wedding is a perfect example of a giving movement. It is something that the man often has few strong preferences about while the woman might have plenty. If that's the case, why wouldn't you let her substantially have the wedding she wants (while staying within your agreed upon budget of course)? So by all means "happy wife" the hell out of it.

It should be a compromise between the wants of both individuals...

It's just that the average guy doesn't really have a lot of prominent wants in a wedding. So it is mostly a focus on what the woman wants.

That said if a guy wants something in his wedding he should by all means speak up. The idea that only women can/should care about a wedding is antiquated and sexist.

Ive finally picked the game back up after being demoralized on the Gautier Inheritance map when Gilbert triggered the entire map to kill me. Ive finally figured out the reinforcement spawns. I really need to drop Ingrid as soon as possible. She just has to be RNG screwed because there is no way that she is actually this bad. She is level 8 with 9 strength. She cant do any real damage at all without combat arts. She has 1 more strength than Annette at the same level (she has 19 magic) and Mercedes at level 10. (She has 20 magic) Ingrid attacking and doing 5 damage to a Monk with an Iron lance is unacceptable

In-house Ingrid just isn't very good of a unit. Her bases are just miserable and it makes her fall behind because she just can't kill. You are much better off just recruiting Petra or someone who can fill the same role much easier.

The ring would lay in the volcano, generally inaccessible. However it would slowly but surely work its way through lava flows to leave the volcano, eventually that lava would harden and maybe the stone was mined, maybe weather eroded it, but the ring would be exposed.

I used to audit tribal casinos for a living. In talking with the tribe members it was honestly 60-40 in favor of Indian for whether they preferred Indian or Native American, but most didn't really care which you used.

It's pretty cliche, but leaving the plateau in BotW. Like obviously you could see the world around you and the map before then, but it didn't quite click as to just as big and open everything was until I landed and realized I could do anything or go anywhere.

A couple of important distinctions.

First, she is hardly wearing particularly scandalous clothing. She's wearing pretty normal casual clothes. So she isn't "putting them on display" so much as "existing while having boobs."

Second, there is a big difference from people looking at an attractive person, which most people do on a regular basis, and going to her Twitter/Instagram/coming up to her in real life and being like "I want to to milk your huge mommy milkers" or some other shit like that. Her problem is with the latter. If you just want to stare at pictures/videos of her boobs. Then go for it. You can even discuss how much you love looking at her boobs with your friends or even online on message boards. Just don't direct that shit at her. That's just basic human decency.

General rule, if whatever comment you are gonna put on someone's Instagram/Twitter isn't something you would be comfortable saying in person to a person at like a bar or whatever, you probably shouldn't post it.

Cancelled vs ended is an irrelevant distinction to make. Many shows are cancelled (as in the decision was made to end the show by the network, not the production), and still have a concluding series finale.

Very, very few shows end because production wants it to end. Most are happy to run forever. The difference in whether they have a fulfilling series finale or not mostly has to do with the showrunners either getting advanced notice or being able to read the writing on the wall.

Renancelling is also a increasingly common trend where shows are being publicly "renewed for a final season". They are still being cancelled, just done so in a way to drum up final season hype. To be clear, this practice has probably been going on internally for awhile now, what has changed is that they just publicly announce it ahead of time.

Funny thing is, peppers and whatnot developed chemicals solely for the sake of burning things that try to eat them, yet we specifically seek them out because "ooh spicy!", lol

That's not quite true. They are spicy to prevent certain animals from eating them. Peppers are a fruit, they are literally meant to be eaten so the seeds can be spread. The spice is to prevent things like rats (who grind up the seeds when they are eaten) from eating them while allowing things like birds who don't care about spicy to eat them instead.

But regardless the "plants are living things too" argument is just too bad faith for me to bother with. The people making it are almost always trying to just get vegetarians/vegans into some sort of gotcha, rather than actually caring about the well-being of any plants. And nobody on either side of the argument actually think that plants are comparable to animal life.

What exactly can the school do that isn't endorsing physical violence as some people are saying to do?

Let's be honest, if we are trying to teach boys not to be peevy little creeps, we are also trying to teach all kids not to respond to negative things with physical violence.

If a girl is encouraged to physically attack a kid who is doing something gross like this, are we not encouraging everyone to resort to violence? What about if someone calls you a derogatory term?

I think the main way to deal with it moving forward is suspension. Like minimum two weeks. This will inconvenience parents enough that they will be the further disciplinarian. This sort of behavior starts at home and needs a solution that involves a change at home... cause the schools are not advocating or creating a culture that makes it OK to be a skeevy perv.

I'm not saying everyone should respond with violence every time. But if a person is being put into a situation where they are being harassed, I have no issue doing what they feel is appropriate to get out of that situation. So if its an issue of upskirt pics being passed around, that's probably go to a school official. If it's something more directly physical (like a student actively taking a picture or trying to lift a skirt, then some times a more direct physical response is needed.

Sexual harassment is not "boys will be boys" behavior. Claiming it as such just normalizes it. Will there always be some little shits that still do it sure, but most people with appropriate education and, when needed, discipline will knock that shit off.

So if that means the school needs an assembly, or special class discussions or whatever to explain why upskirting is completely unacceptable and to lay out the punishment for when it does happen, then do it. And for the kids that are still doing it after the fact, the school needs to come down HARD. Suspend the kids. Remove their ability to participate in extra-circulars. Make it is abundantly clear that if they can't demonstrate the ability to behave appropriately around people, then they just won't get to be around people.

Saying "boys will be boys" and chalking it up to an unfixable problem just reinforces that it is normal and okay. Fuck that. You try to fix it and if kids still insist on it, you make sure they feel the full consequences of their actions.

If only because everyone can get on a wyvern instead and they nerf your growths for so much as looking at a horse.

The speed growth nerfs are super immaterial. 1 point of speed every 10 levels in a game where there is a bunch of ways to fix stats and speed is actually less important than the average FE game.

But yes, competition with Wyverns as well as the incredible importance of Death Blow is why Cavalier/Paladin isn't dominating. That being said, it's still a very strong class and almost always an excellent end game choice for any unit that either has difficulty getting wings (like Dimitri) or because you already have enough flyers (because limited Battalions).

As a sword-only character Ike does not have access to Javelins or Hand Axes. So if any enemies attack him from 2 range he has no ability to counter attack. POR is a game full of a large number of low-quality enemies. So it is more important to just kill a bunch of people on enemy phase. Having 1-2 Range access means you can kill a whole lot more enemies on Enemy Phase.
