They get a second at 2nd but don't get a third until 11th. This leaves warlocks to be far more dependent on their cantrip game and EB is by far the best option. If one wants to build without it that's fine, there are certainly other cantrips and mundane weapon choices, but unless short rests are being handed out like candy then they are going to spend most of the day burned out of slots and rellying on those at will options. --- Sometimes you've got to out weird life. As a package BoF 2 is a better game to me. It may have some missteps such as dragon skills costing your full ap bar or the best magics being locked to the emotion gauge but everything else more than compensates. --- Sometimes you've got to out weird life.
