it's pretty weird now
it's much more akin to some sort of weird self-parody show that constantly makes fun of itself and its characters
it's been a lot more experimental with episode styles and generally isn't nearly as edgy as it was becoming with seasons 4 and 5 and stuff

i'd say the latest season is a slight improvement over what came before, but it's not really saying much

level scaling complaints are weird to me
i literally can't imagine what's fun about fighting some piss-easy enemies that aren't worth my time, and games shouldn't be making me backtrack to those areas in the first place
unless the level scaling is straight-up just handled in a bad way, i don't see why people care

but on a similar note, tying damage and status effect infliction to level comparisons is pretty dumb

locking content behind new game+ is really stupid
just let me play on hard mode, do all the quests, play with these settings, and whatever

like, it's the most neutral setting you can put these characters in so you can allow them to go fast without having to do any ridiculous scaling stuff
