My parents are religious but we never really went to church growing up. And while they believed they did little to teach it at home. I wouldn't say I'm atheist but I don't really subscribe to or follow a religion. Every religion I've seen uses faith to justify things that I don't agree with. So even if there is a higher power either their followers are lost and are misunderstanding their teachings to justify hate or that higher power is corrupt and not worth my worship.

It helped anyone who was maybe 1-2k behind on debt. Which seemed to be enough as many people were able to pay off they'res that year and stabilize their financial situations.

But ultimately the stimulus was never meant to save anyone financially and people really need to stop thinking otherwise.

What was the point of it then?
For the record I'm nor for or against it. I have no strong feelings really. This is more from the view of curiosity

Yeah comics have really gone off the deepend on the inclusive thing. Like it's going too far where they're not even being inclusive it feels like a parody. Making a character gay/trans/etc is fine. Making a character a combination of as many oppressed/minority groups as possible for the sake of inclusion? That's just tacky.

I went to the gym five days a week with a mask. Lifting/carido etc I did it all. Not the best but definitely manageable

I think it depends. Pirating new games/movies yes. Music even old isn't really worth pirating when services like spotify/YouTube music/Apple music exist for negligible amounts of money.

Thanks everyone. He called me and we talked on the phone and I feel better. Apparently he's supposed to go home today with a appointment scheduled later this week to talk about the next step. There will be a surgery but he's not in immediate danger or anything. It does change our plans for when I go home next week but I'm just glad he's ok

Female kicker on Vanderbilt this past year. Theres been some who have tried out for the NFL.

Honestly there's not much of a solution for this. Making transgirls play in male sports doesn't work (though I guess technically that's a open league but in reality open league means boy's league.) However allowing transgirls to compete in girls leagues isn't really fair for cis girls. The fairest move physically would be a trans league but that'd be separating then and there's not really enough trans athletes to support this. So Honestly idk the solution

Most people seem to like the story. It's decent better than most mmo's but I feel a lot of the players overexaggerate it. I love the game though

No, they fear if they make the life of someone else better, they won't look as good. They'll make their life better in a heartbeat but if something happens that makes them look not as "good" then they'll pass up that opportunity.

Like someone working a min wage job could go run Garbageman routes for double or even triple their current pay but they won't do that because it will make them look worse.

If you're making close to $15 a hour it's not like it makes you look worse for others to make that much either way its not like a super impressive wage or anything. And if you're making significantly more then what does it matter if they're making $15 versus $10 or $8

Even world wide more countries have a average height of 5'9 or under and even in the US the average height for white males (the tallest demographic in the US on average) is just under 5'10 and black males are just over 5'9 so even with just those races and no "immigration" it'd still be 5'9

I'm not really arguing against taxes for the rich btw. In fact for the. Out part I'm pretty left leaning and support most of thse ideas.. My point was more when people compare themselves to bezos with things like the average person will never be close to this much. Like thats true but you'll also never be happy comparing yourself to those who have more. Like I agree with saying people shouldn't go hungry but not necessarily that billionaires shouldn't exist as I don't think that's necessarily the problem
