I was thinking this. There's been a few times where I'd go into a fight and the difficulty shot up ridiculously to the point where I'm thinking "Oh, I guess I'm supposed to lose this fight" only to get hit with a Game Over screen when I actually lose.

My daughter just turned 11 months and so far I've only been peed on a couple times. And barely at that. Definitely been puked on a few times though. Several times actually. She'd pretty much spit up after every single bottle. Took her around 6 months or so to slowly grow out of that.

This. I never played the original so I'm not attached to the story or know much about it although I've known for almost 2 decades about the death. I plan to play the remake though. I'm going to borrow it from a friend if they don't do a PC release soon.

I'm not even sure how I learned. I think from a friend in high school. I had to change my tire so many damn times in college. It got to the point where I felt like I was so smooth with it that I could get it changed in 5 mins. Especially with a hydraulic jack.

I remember seeing an ad for it and adding it to my wish list on Steam several years ago. Never got around to getting it or playing it. Hadn't even heard of Prototype 1 when I saw the ad for 2. At this point, I lost interest.

Not sure how many games there are to go by numbers or if there is just basically 1 per generation or not, but I started The Last Hope a week or two ago. I think that one was a PS3 one, but I'm playing on Steam. Main character seems lame. Definitely dislike the battle system. But everything else in the game seems really cool and I like the game overall. I just got my 4th character and then saved the game. I'm not that far into it yet.

I played the PS4 one years ago. From memory, I think I liked that one a lot better than the Last Hope. That one was my first Star Ocean game though. I've been wanting to play them since the PS2 days, but was always too broke to buy them back then.

A guy at a company I work with literally bought a piece of equipment new from Amazon. When it arrived, the box was clearly previously opened. Inside the box was a lesser model. Someone did a bait and switch and returned a cheaper model. Definitely wasn't new.

@eston Apparently so. It drives me insane. Especially since she always wants to visit and see my baby daughter. Although she at least wears a mask all the time. Her excuse in the very beginning was that she wanted to see how everyone else reacted to the vaccine at first.

I do seriously wish they would go back to dubs, but I understand it's for budgeting reasons. I wish they didn't pick 9 to return back to dubs for DW since 9 sucked and will make them less likely to do dubs again.

I'm a huge fan of the older DW games like 3-5 (Started with 2 and loved it at the time, but it's missing so much when compared to 3). Something like Hyrule Warriors:Definitive Edition is soooo much better than the recent DW games. 9 definitely sucked. I won't say 8 sucked, but I didn't like it as much. PW3 was super fun as well. I played the demo of SW5, and I think it's great and feels more like a slight return to form. I told my friend a few months ago that it felt like the developers put in more work when it comes to licensed games versus their own games.

Oh. Yea that definitely makes a huge difference. My 2nd surgery didn't hurt as bad since the patellar tendon graft came from my good knee (which basically split the pain in half to share between knees). My third surgery was actually done using the quadricep tendon graft. It was painful, but I can't remember if the first one was worse. I think so.

Are you talking about pain proceeding surgery? I had ACL surgery last year and hardly had any pain at all. I even I only took one or two of the opiods they gave me.

@Beefbud Did you have the hamstring method done? I had the patellar tendon method done the first two times (actually tore my ACL three times). The first time I woke up from surgery in so much pain that a drop of water hitting my knee would have probably made me cry.

While I haven't played this game specifically, I'm familiar with the concept and I absolutely agree that 'skipping the grind' is a pay to win mechanic.

Let's say it takes X amount of time of normal gameplay to achieve what can be done instantly by throwing money at it. During that time the paying player will have had an advantage, and racked up more wins than the F2P player. Those wins will usually reward the player even more; with exp points, with items and ingame currencies that aren't buyable, or by unlocking higher tiers faster that give even more rewards, etc. Even if a F2P catches up after X time to where the paying player started, there will still be a lead that's not easily overcome.

Secondly, these sort of games get updated over time with stronger characters and items to unlock, making sure the F2P's grind is never over. Whenever they get close to catching up, the finish line just keeps extending. So even when all content is technically available to every player, those who don't pay will always be at a disadvantage.

Another thing that is weird is the creator saying Kiryu is a virgin. The substories are canon and he bangs anywhere from 3 to 9 hostesses per game and he also was with Kaoru after Y2. Absolutely makes no damn sense.

Does it actually state in plain text that sex happened though? I don't remember anything being implied to happen between Kiryu and Kaoru either, but it's been a while since I've played.

Yup, I was able to preorder two. First preorder was Walmart, and then the 2nd day, I got an email for Sony Direct. I was worried Walmart may get cancelled (I recall hearing years ago that GameStop had to cancel preorders because they got too many or something), so I did the Sony Direct one too. I was originally going to cancel the Walmart one when it got closer to time, but my friend said he'd buy it so I sold it to him.
