| LordDemonWolf 02/21/21 3:57:04 PM #8 | I worked in the walmart photo lab for a while. The machine has two rolls. There is a 6" on the top, and an 8" on the bottom. Bottom roll gets 8x10s and whatnot, top roll prints out 4x6, 5x7, etc. But when the 5x7 comes out, there is an inch of wasted paper, so we have to trim it off. That's part of the cost. And just being bigger. We do have 4" rolls also, but only put them in for 4x4's. We could print the 4x6 on them, but, manpower in switching rolls out all the time, and sometimes the orientation is wonky and it cuts the p[ic off when going back and forth. Walmart also gives you a discount if you print over 75 pics, and the one hour photos are more cheaper than the instant ones. --- What is life, except/ Excuse for death, or death but/ An escape from life? |
