I've been thinking about getting one or two.Imo all of the DLC characters are worth a look at in some capacity but in terms of enjoyment Id go Joker and Kazuya for top 2. Pyra and Mythra are like two characters in one so lotta value there money-wise. Steve is kinda nutty and hes got that this is so stupid and I love it factor to him. I have a harder time recommending characters like Min-Min, banjo, but if youre more into the keep away style of gameplay the former two work wonders. Hero has a heavy RNG element to him that I dont like personally but some people love it. Sephiroth has a long ass sword. Terry while cool, has kinda been eclipsed by Kazuya imo. In mainline Mario games, he's always big and hulking and menacing, using magic and fire breath and stuff. And in Mario sports games, he's always slow but a powerhouse.Bowser is pretty agile in the later 3D mario games. In galaxy hes doing back flips in his final boss encounter, and in odyssey he jumps all around the arena like a frog in both fights. He also runs faster than mario in that game. Theres also a couple of moves in the Mario & Luigi series that are really sinilar to flying slam. Moveset-wise hes more accurate than hes ever been in a Smash game imo. Where I do agree that they dropped the ball is in his personality. Bowser is a lot more of a goofball in the mainline games. Smash makes him a more generic evil villain type and he loses a lot of that loveable charm he has in the main series. What makes it a good move is that it comes out fast, but you can punish it with whatever you want. Its absolutely fine as is. For reference Ridley has 44 frames of endlag on his side B.
