For real anyone saying you can layer up indefinitely and stay warm has no clue what they're talking about and definitely doesn't spend a significant time outside in the cold.

I've dug holes in 116F and I've worked in -35F. Guess which was harder? The COLD. It doesn't fucking matter how many layers you wear because when it's cold there's almost always going to be a wind, and once the wind blows your bodyheat away the layers aren't doing anything!

And if you break a sweat in all your layers, you're fucked because now your clothed are getting damp and literally freezing to your body

TLA was amazing because of characters like Zuko, Katara, Azula, and Iroh. These characters were by far the best written in all of TLA.

That's not to say the rest of the Gaang has bad writing or no character development, they're just not as interesting.

Korra is a MUCH more interesting and compelling Avatar, Imo.

Season 2 and 4 don't suck either. All of Korra is really, really solid.

The only kind of drug I feel you can really tell people is definitely not good at all is Meth, Cocaine, and Heroin. If it's made with chemicals labeled as Toxic humans shouldn't consume it.

I'd rather see someone drop acid (that was produced cleanly and free from harmful chemicals) occasionally than smoke a cigarette. If a cigarette was just a paper roll and tobacco I'd have less issue with it but these American companies have to add all this shit to it so that it makes you super addicted.

I work 50 hours a week, go to school full time 20 hours a week, and still manage to hit 2 lifts a week and run 20 miles every single week.

On the weekends, having a drink and maybe some occasional cannabis helps me "reset" and cope with the demands of my life. If I didn't have those two things to help me relax and feel peace/have fun I'd be a miserable person for sure.

i have a confession

for a long time ive been using egg whites, not really for health reasons, just for the lower calories. right before making this thread, i bought the egg substitute stuff. sounds kinda strange, but i was interested in trying it. but looking at it today, the ingredients list is pretty high.

however ever since i increased my intake a little bit, im open to using actual eggs now. in fact it sounds great.

i'm still determined to find a way to enjoy oats. i was a little salty earlier when i made that post. i havent drank coffee in a few days (trying to cut off caffeine) so i think i'm crankier than normal. but i have almost a full container of oatmeal, i must find a way to make it work.

egg yolks are not bad for you. they are where all the micronutrients and healthy fats of an egg are, which will help make sure you are getting all the vitamins and minerals you should be getting without having to supplement, and will also contribute to satiety. the white is basically just protein and water. the concept that leaving out the yolk is better for you is an antiquated and incorrect notion based on the disproven theory that dietary cholesterol has a significant effect on blood cholesterol levels, which it doesn't. so french toast is a decent option, but there's no reason to leave out the yolks.

i'm also not a very big fan of artificial sweeteners. french toast eggbath recipes don't typically call for any sweetener anyway. the standard cinnamon and vanilla and milk should be fine.
No one said the egg yolk is bad for you. But it does add roughly 70 calories.

You're going to need 1 egg per piece of French toast you make. You would essentially be adding 210 calories you don't need to add into your diet.

You can get more high quality fats by eating a single salmon filet and have less calories.

Yeah, I think I'm gonna have to retire oatmeal. I never liked oatmeal, I just liked the sugar. I've tried making it different ways, but in general it taste quite awful. I don't know how you guys eat this stuff. I never look forward to eating breakfast anymore, I actually dread it now. I'm gonna have to look at other healthy options for breakfast, because this ain't doing it.
Try French toast, but make it with egg whites.

You can use 150g egg whites for roughly 75cal. Three pieces of whole wheat bread, 300 cal.
Mix egg whites with cinnamon, stevia if you like sweet taste, and a dash of vanilla.

Get a ms buttersworth 10 cal syrup. Seriously. The worst thing an artificially sweetened item is going to do is make your lower tummy a little bloated, but as long as you don't go overboard on the artificial sweeteners you won't bloat.

Anyways you make French toast exactly like that and you're looking at a

425 cal breakfast / good carbs / healthy protein / decent amount of fiber.

I like to top it with strawberries. Every 100 grams of strawberry is roughly 30 cal and a good source of fiber and vitamins.

Otherwise, you can encourage her to be checked out for her ability to carry a donor egg with your seed, once any emotional trauma she's experiencing at the moment, if any, has settled down.

This is a long and hard road for many women who become infertile and they actually want their very own children. Best of luck to you both.

If you have the slightest amount of athleticism, don't panic. As the dog charges you, kick it directly in the jaw. If you get a hard kick, this is going to stun it for just a second.

During this time take the dog's back. If it has a collar, grab the collar and one of the front legs. You can now choke it to death.

Doesn't have a collar? Wrap your arm around the dog's neck tightly and get the other arm under a leg and grip your choking arm, making an arm bar. You can now choke it to death.

It's literally in one of the links I posted earlier.

*Disorders of bone and calcium homeostasis (can start happening in as little as 6 weeks)
*Disorders of renal function
*Increased cancer risk
*Disorders of liver function
*Precipitated progression of coronary artery disease

You also cannot disregard the simple fact that if you want to build muscle on 2g/kg/day of protein, you need to maintain that intake of 2g/kg/day in order to retain your new muscle, or potentially increase the intake of even more protein as your lean mass grows. And as soon as you stop taking in all that protein for a period of time, the progress will start to go away. This is a super dangerous and predatory scenario for the average individual that is not experienced with sports nutrition, becausr they are being deceived to buy expensive supplements and pills and powders that they cannot sustain long-term, both in lifestyle changes themselves and the physical effects on the body.

And then all of the health problems I just listed above on top of that? That is precisely why I always recommend people get only their adequate protein from the diet. It's easier on the body, it's cheaper, it's healthier and it's more sustainable.

As an alternative to oatmeal, it's just as good and has the same capability to be flexible on ingredients and delicious for anyone. The only issue is the generally higher amount of fat compared to oats, so it should be eaten more generously if you are trying to lose weight.
What did you say a person should cap protein at? .4g of protein per pound of bodyweight? And beyond that it's "dangerous "?

That would mean a 180 pound person could have roughly 70g of protein per day, or something close to 1 whole chicken breast, and a couple glasses of soy/cashew milk or 1 serving of healthy plain Greek yogurt.

What about protein in a whole sources of wheat? Let's not even count them! Where is a person going to get up to 2500 calories a day if they need to stop at 70g protein? It's literally impossible.

It's just stupid if you think about what you're saying
