If they refuse to get vaccinated, it's better off they die and we won't need to stay ahead and keep creating boosters for each new variant they keep manifesting. But it does come at the price of fake news spreading, social media toxicity, and data/privacy breaching, and a tendency to overly-rely on the internet.

I'm gonna agree and disagree and I think it depends on how much effort the developers put into the bosses. Usually I love an awesome boss fight but I can see where you're coming from, there's many games that just make them overly cheap bullet-sponges, or if they have an easy pattern to recognize they can be kind of a joke. But if a game is just fighting easy mobs all game without that additional big baddie that really challenges you, then a game can get pretty dull.

I think their chicken sandwiches are just ok, but the waffle fries with the Chik-fil-A sauce is amazing, and they always seem very well organized with keeping lines moving. I've always heard they treat their employees well, too. There's one really popular one around me that puts up canopies for shade and gives them cooling vests to wear when it gets hot and I think they make more hourly than most other fast food joints.

I don't give a shit about their politics. Rather have them than some woke corporation that says nice things on Twitter but treats their employees like human trash.

To be fair RPG's were the only games giving us more then 12 hours of solo play. Else you needed fighters, sports, shooters and other multiplayer focused games to get any real length out of them. Platformers were still more fun but they didn't last long enough to justify despite AAA status.

But these days? Nah. God I would kill for developers to stop making games over 40 hours long and open world that don't need to be. Most obvious offender being Assassins Creed. Give me a city to go wild in, fuck an open world, tighten that shit up.

I think this is a good answer. When you're 8 years old and your parents only get you one game every now and then, the long game with a story gives you pretty good value.

Of course it's a massive waste of time, but I enjoy it. I get his point, unless you're getting famous and making money streaming it or creating with them, it's not a tangible skill that gives you any kind of advantage in life. And it seems like he's directing the criticism more at kids who do almost nothing but play video games all day.

It's basically the opinion of "if what you're doing isn't productive in some way, don't do it" hustler philosophy, which I don't agree with. Like someone else said, it's about balance: I work, I do chores around the home, I read to learn new things, and sometimes I want to zone out and enjoy a fun video game.
