Were in a drought; not showering is my civic duty.

I usually take Navy showers, i. e. I turn off the water when not actively using it, such as to scrub or to shave.

I do miss the removable head (hand-held) shower we had at our old house, but so far I havent been able to convince my husband to get one here.

Most Americans do bathe too often, though. Its actually bad for hair to be washed daily.

Districts around here (Bay Area) are offering both options for families, and the in-person schedules are retaining the block format. I suspect they are doing that to simplify a switch back to remote for everyone if needed. There was a huge debate about block scheduling just a few years ago and it was rejected, so the switch now has to be for the purpose of going back to remote if conditions warrant it.

I would be interested to see ages attached to votes. I voted for HI; Im 48 (and female). I liked BMW too. It wasnt a runaway contest for me. But HI seemed targeted to an older audience.

On fire. We bought 3 years ago for just over 1.5. Its now likely worth over 2. And its crap. We havent got to any of our home projects. Contractors are like hens teeth, and the permitting process is like molasses.

She may be getting a belly at two months, but its not from the baby. Even in later pregnancies it doesnt show that early.

I remember seeing a clip where every single runner in a race mowing down every single hurdle and then all of them chewing out the officials. Apparently, the hurdles were all placed about a foot off, so that all their muscle memory about stride length and how to jump was all thrown off.

Wonder if anything like that happened to her.

Like how the vault was 2 too low at the Sydney games? It wasnt discovered until after many gymnasts had already vaulted. They literally could have broken their necks.

In my profession (teaching) I could lose my license if the employer chose to pursue with the Commission on Teacher Credentialing. But in most cases its totally fine (and common).
