If I see a blatantly trolling, dog whistling, or mysoginistic post - 99% of the time it's either a new user or a level 37 poster. Why is that?

My guess is that they've been around long enough to get karma protection, but they keep getting purgatory and stuff and can never graduate to being a 38 user. It's like an exclusive club for GameFAQs's biggest shitposters.
