My only impressions of her husband werent great but I do hope everything works out. My poor uncle had to see his only child move overseas and couldnt see his first grandchild very often. Hes such a Baby Boomer tough guy but hes a different person when it comes to his daughter and grandson that it broke my heart to know just how hard them living overseas affected him. --- We were thinking of naming the baby Ellipsis, but it seemed so...typographical. |

| SolKarellen 05/12/21 8:01:29 PM #109 | Kongol has to be one of the most shafted party members in JRPG history; you could remove him from the game and objectively lose nothing. He gets next to no lines after he joins and plays no role in the plot aside from his dream duel at the end but everyone gets one. He has only three additions and fewer spells. He has the least of the best stat in the game and awful damage mods on his additions. Getting his Dragoon Spirit is optional, easily missable, and you just BUY IT. If you miss it you get it in the final dungeon of the game! Kongol feels like he was added in at the very last moment. They were really hung-up on not letting you swap out the main character. I remember being amazed that you could swap out Tidus in FFX (albeit hes always the on-screen character). I guess its because in old JRPGs only the characters in your immediate party was were with you and the rest of the party were all hanging out in town. With exceptions like FF6 and Chrono Trigger. You couldnt make story cutscenes work without the main character. It wasnt until the 2000s with games like FFX where the entire cast is almost always together as a whole. --- We were thinking of naming the baby Ellipsis, but it seemed so...typographical. |
