What gets lost in translation here is that "not wanting to date them because they're trans", goes back to "Trans Women are Women." Which they are. You're denying their identity when you get on that track, of specifically not wanting to date them, because they're trans. That's where the transphobia lies. Wanting to have kids, is a preference and that's biological, so I don't think you're transphobic in that aspect. |

It's not transphobic to NOT interested in, or not dating, a specific woman who does not currently have the genitalia you prefer. It is transphobic to say you're not interested in, or won't date, a specific woman because she is trans. Often, Trans Women will pass and are indistinguishable from actual women. |
