It's not a hard slogfest, it's a game you haven't played before. You're allowed to be new and struggle because of it.

For making it easier you have learning enemies, overlevelling, knowing where to get good weapons/busted abilities early, optimal routes to take, AI exploitation (the limits of how far they can follow you, walking them off cliffs, getting them to commit to slow animations) and all that stuff.

I watched one of the boss fight demos.
Travis just turned the meta speak up to max and asked him to telegraph his moves with different colors in the fight. Not feeling it.

Payday 2 had an update that added range-based weapon effectiveness, ruined shotguns, nerfed kingpin and freed me of desire to play the game.

You glance out your window and see what you'd call a few dreary simpletons walking by. You cannot resist the urge to brag about your excellence to them.

Ustanak is much cooler than Nemesis.
Resident Evil 6 is better than 7 and 8 (But all 3 make me sigh far too often.)

I had more but I think they were more needlessly cynical than just uncommon.

Might be slightly off topic but I was really curious about motivation in general a while ago.
I played around with it and what I found was the best strat was to have someone to share your ideas or intentions with it. Might be a personal thing but feedback, positives responses to ideas (or rather a process of filtering and approving emboldening you on the whole) was a hell of an incentive to really buckle down. You can also sort of lock yourself into a bit of a schedule by all but vowing to do it because you know there's a chance they'll follow up on it.
Long term plans were what I had the least success with, or rigid ones at least. Looking ahead and thinking "I already know what's coming and it's going to get stale" was like anti-motivation.

Right now I've found a channel that really likes to push Ayurveda that was telling people some of the conclusions I came to on my own. Some of the nutrition responses are pretty legit too.

Probably 3.
1 had the pause trick which worked with Iceman, Fireman, Bombman and Elecman's weapons.
2's pretty easy going overall. Metal Blade and occasionally Quick Boomerang had you covered.

3's the longest one, you get some nice weapons but you don't get a pause glitch/metal blade. Doc Robot stages have two bosses per level and some of them are pretty dangerous.

I'm really bad at it.
I've been on and off plugging away at it for too long now. I can't get anything to a point I'm happy with it. Having the perfectionist approach and being terrible at it is a brutal combo.

Relating back to the human condition is a great answer.
I want the kind of characterisation that makes you keep thinking about them after the series is over. At this point I've seen a whole bunch of characters that shoot lasers, perform superhuman feats, travel through time and all that, I want ones that get me following the character themselves rather than waiting for the aftermath of whatever battle or feat they end up involved with next.

The walkway above the painting room in Anor Londo needs a big trampoline that bounces you back up if you fall. Gargoyles should have harmless foam bats instead of weapons. Gwyn should keep tripping over and intermittently forgetting what he's doing and where he is.

I heard a guy on a wrestling podcast take credit for starting this.

The first two that come to mind in terms of making up for the sheer number disadvantage is Dialga and Palkia, those two don't as much fly as they permanently levitate or move off to pocket dimensions where they're safe, plus time and space powers are about as broken as it gets so if those two can just distort the hell out of the fight and rig it I'm sort of inclined to think the Pokemon could do it.
I'm guessing Deoxys just destroying the planet and everything on it is out of the question so that's my next best though.

Unless PP or some other limit on moves is in effect and eventually the Pokemon will have to start using struggle, then the lions take it.

RE5 is my favorite one. The sheer amount of dumb fun I had with that game is crazy. Co-op mercs in 5 has gotta be the best thing in any RE game.

It actually is in 6, it also has No Mercy mode and co-op for both of them. It plays a little differently too, more than 150 enemies to make your combo out of and counters more than stun -> melee.

That ustanak was pretty obnoxious tbh. Jake shouldve been more like his father than just be a carbon copy of himself. Not to mention shetry's inability to transform into grotesque creature because reasons despite having the healing capabilities pretty much damage his character and this franchise as a whole.

Even though he coulda been integrated into the gameplay better, I thought Ustanak was the most metal thing in the world. Stupidly durable, all those weapons and strategies, being playable in that one mode nobody's around to play.

I thought since Wesker outright died, they needed another character who wasn't going to stick around to play devils advocate, have reason to take his side and help give the character/history with Chris some closure. Woulda been fun if he was more over the top but I don't mind what they did since RE's gotta end in rocket launchers and optimism. Sherry having Krauser's special attack woulda been something though.

Since Leon's is pretty much all zombies it's the best to play online because it's all easy counters and way fewer projectiles to worry about. Specifically co op, professional difficulty, no infinite ammo and agent hunt on.

I like Chris and Piers' for the mismatch of the story being more sombre while the gameplay is Chris power tripping with an infinite ammo nade launcher.

Jake and Sherry's levels are weaker than the other two imo but they're both really OP characters so the gameplay holds up.
