Pretty much the same, I still think its all a puppet show and there is only one party (The US Gov) and we are merely led to believe that our vote changes anything. Of course it is, much in the same way that the original Twilight Zone is still worth watching. It's dated, but still seriously good TV.

uhhhh no, not even close

Twilight Zone has held up far better than most TV in that era, it's still 1000% watchable, largely in part to the absolute phenomenal acting that largely blows todays TV acting clear out of the water. Star Trek OG was cool and all but the acting was far from phenomenal and the sets aged like complete garbage where as the sets in Twilight Zone were often period pieces so they held up really well

It's impossible to take it seriously when my kitchen looks more advanced than the bridge. It had some great original ideas but honestly they've been done better and more believable since then in more modern media.

I feel like, if P5 is "up there for best JRPG ever," then it's a weak genre, overall (not saying that's the case, only that I think it would be if that statement was true).

I played the others, though, so I had some idea of how the game's structure would be like, just not its content, and I found that content to be either disappointing or bad.

The genre is weak at this point tbh, every other genre has integrated the aspects in more fun ways

But I still think classic JRPG is fun and P5 is one of the crown jewels

To each their own
