There is stuff in the woods... cumen encampments, roads that may or may not have ambushes from various people and not just one type of enemy, animals to hunt or poach. Shit's awesome. I still get irrationally angry thinking about that to this day. I have such fond memories, and conversations with people about seasons 1-6... watching the first two seasons during a big winter storm, walking to a convienence store because all the cars are snowed in and talking about specific theories and ideas about white walkers and such.
