For me, it's a tie between 1980s and 1990s. After that, technology became too advanced, controlling, confusing, and inconvenient. People also became more evil. From here on, it's only going to get worse.

I like the books better. I felt the movies were rushed, and didn't do a good job of introductions. They also insulted several characters, especially hobbits and dwarves. There was a lack of wisdom throughout the movies, and they tended to diminish positive aspects and exaggerate the negative ones.

The one in A looks like a snowshoe hare with white fur to match the snow. The one in B looks like a cottontail rabbit. It looks a little smaller, especially the ears and the fur doesn't blend into the background. It would be easier to tell if they showed both of their legs because hares have longer legs. However, the one in A has big feet, which could mean longer legs. If the animals' sizes, especially the ears were clearer, it would make them easier to tell apart as well.

The top one is a butterfly, and the bottom one is a moth. Butterflies are usually more colorful, with thin antennae and smooth bodies while moths are usually more dull, with leaf-shaped antennae and furry bodies.

At first glance, they both seemed to look like alligators because both their snouts look wide. However, I realized that in #2, I couldn't really see if the snout was more U-shaped or V-shaped from that angle. Then I saw some bottom teeth in #2. In both pictures, the mouths are closed. In that case, we wouldn't be able to see the bottom teeth in alligators, but would see some of them in crocodiles.
