I didn't hear him say he asked the jury about Maxine's comments specifically, just comments on social media (I am foggy on this because I didn't know what he was referring to and he started venting about Waters without naming her specifically) but this was in the discussion where he denied the request for a mistrial.

I dont think he mentioned asking the jury about them during that time. The jury wasnt even in there anymore at that point.

Sorry but such a theory is that they wasted tens f millions of dollars making a film that cost hundreds of millions to make look like a success when it wasn't. It just boggles the mind. They lose less money by cutting their loses.

That theory seems like a case of cutting off the nose to spite the face.

Maybe where you live and in your theater no one wanted to see the movie. That doesn't mean their was a massive deception.

My area normally packs the theaters for Marvel movies. Maybe Marvel just didnt want the first female solo film to have bad press about people not wanting to see it. Idk if it happened or not but it wouldnt surprise me. They could certainly afford it. Again, just my experience. Never seen anything like it here before or since and I thought it was strange.

Did you even see any of the trial? Nelson introduced more than enough reasonable doubt to get at least a hung jury. The system isnt broken just because you dont like the results.

Hell they even resorted to calling it the skywalker saga last minute just to build up the hype, even though from a narrative perspective it made no damn sense at all.

The Palpatine Saga would have made much more sense.

I doubt it. The idea that a company would waste money to make a flop look like a success makes no sense. They are trying to make money not lose it.

Making it look more successful could lead to hold outs going to see it. My theater definitely had something going on. When I bought tickets, there was a group of 10-12 seats in the very front left of the theater sold out while the rest of the theater was available. When i got inside, no one came to fill those seats. Odd.
