Not a huge fan of comedies that pre-date me, but Mel Brooks had some of his best movies in the early 70s (Blazing Saddles and Young Frankenstein are obvious for most people, but I'm a fan of Silent Movie as well). And I'm a huge fan of Murder By Death (1976). Life of Brian and Meaning of Life are superior to Holy Grail. He's managed to rebrand himself as a billionaire who cares and people eat it up Pretty much this. The film Pirates of Silicon Valley paints a pretty accurate portrait of him during the 1980s/1990s. The Bush family represents a bygone era of the Republican Party that included respect for the rule of law and common decency in political discourse.
