Not a huge fan of comedies that pre-date me, but Mel Brooks had some of his best movies in the early 70s (Blazing Saddles and Young Frankenstein are obvious for most people, but I'm a fan of Silent Movie as well). And I'm a huge fan of Murder By Death (1976).

Monty Python would fall into that category as well - the TV show is late 60s/early 70s, and Holy Grail pre-dates me, though Life of Brian and Meaning of Life (which I consider better than Holy Grail) came out after I was born.

Life of Brian and Meaning of Life are superior to Holy Grail.

Also, Mel Brooks' movies, while all are varying levels of good, definitely peaked in the 70s.

Bill Gates was pretty much the tech industry mafia in the 90s. He's managed to rebrand himself as a billionaire who cares and people eat it up

Pretty much this. The film Pirates of Silicon Valley paints a pretty accurate portrait of him during the 1980s/1990s. He was cutthroat in trying to get ahead in the industry...and ripping off the original Macintosh OS.

The Bush family and Trump are...not on good terms. The Bush family represents a bygone era of the Republican Party that included respect for the rule of law and common decency in political discourse. Trump has (mostly) successfully upended that.

Thanks to Joe Manchin, we don't get anything this time. With being $2,000 over the limit, we lost out on over $5,000.
