Is it an outdoor wedding? How many people do you think will be there?
Because there are probably things you could do to mitigate the risk without having to miss it, but also I think your friend would understand

It doesn't appear to to be outside. I'm guessing a large number of people will be there. He's pretty outgoing guy and I think he has a lot of friends and family. I'm not sure about his fiance. I already spoke with my friend about what was going on with me. He said he obviously wants me to come but he would understand if I really couldn't.

It just sucks because I was looking forward to it, but I just don't know.

I have been dealing with injuries that aren't healing and I've been feeling awful for the past couple of months.

I am vaccinated and my friend has requested his wedding guests be vaccinated or have a negative covid test.

I'm just afraid with all of those people its not going to matter. I don't want to get covid even if its mild at the same time as these injuries.

If it was far away I would just say no, but its close to where I live. I have to RSVP by next wed.

I got hit on the left jaw hinge, but my right jaw hinge is popping and clicking. I saw a DDS/MD. She took a CT scan and didn't see anything. She gave me muscle relaxers to take for 2 weeks and said to use a heating pad and aleve.

Its almost been two weeks and I feel the same, maybe worse because I have a headache now. The muscle relaxers just help me sleep through the night. I'm supposed to go back to get fitted for a mouthguard, but I don't understand how the scan didn't show anything. My jaw feels completely misaligned and clearly something is wrong if I'm getting popping.

Reading more about it (https://www.nursingcenter.com/ce_articleprint?an=01261775-201607000-00003) I am more convinced you do have this

Posterior dislocations commonly occur when the patient receives a direct blow to the chin. This mechanism of injury causes the mandibular condyle to subluxate and move posteriorly toward the mastoid bone. This type of dislocation can also cause injury to the external auditory canal.

this even says "a direct blow to the chin can cause a version where your jaw moves backward (instead of the normal forward one) and it makes your ear hurt"

It's not an emergency per se but the longer you wait the worse it will be in the long run

I got hit in the area next to my right ear and most of my pain, popping, grinding, is on my left side. I'm just so unsure of who I should see.

It actually does sound like symptoms of "subluxation" (partial dislocation), especially the difficulty closing your mouth

Subluxation will heal on its own but a dentist is the best doctor to see (ER doc or orthopedist could do it too probably). You could get a buddy to try it on you first -- there are good guides on YouTube ("how to reduce jaw dislocation")

Have you taken any medicine for it? It could just be inflammation related to your poor mouth hygiene

(I'm a paramedic)

Ive just tried tylenol and aleve. They mildly help the pain but not the feeling or function. My jaw felt fine before I was hit. I just can't believe this is happening after a bump.

I went to hug my mom a week ago and she accidentally banged her head into my right jaw hinge. My jaw feels off now. I'm getting a lot of grinding, popping, clicking, and soreness/tightness by my ear in my opposite (left) hinge. I can open my mouth and chew but not as much as before without discomfort. Could I have dislocated it?

What type of professional am I supposed to see for this and what would they do? I was planning on having a cleaning since I haven't had one in two years due to the pandemic. I have a lot of tartar. I'm on medicaid and my general dentist doesn't take my insurance anymore. Should I try and go for a cleaning first?

I'm so upset over this. This has been the worst year of my life in terms of my health. I keep getting hurt from the most basic movements.

I have seen them several times in the past, but this never bothered me until now.

In both films, Peter is like, "Oh I can't tell people I love who I am because it would put them in danger."

Except the people he loves are in danger multiple times in the movies. Mary Jane and Aunt May are attacked/captured by Green Goblin and Doc Ock either by happenstance or because they are connected to Peter Parker.

It's weird. I can't seem to enjoy watching my usual youtube vids or tv shows. I basically flip between game show network and buzr. I like Match Game, America Says, and Password Plus.

Anything that has violence or is depressing upsets me.

I just cant stand watching the commercials tailored for old people for like medicare plans, old informercials for mobility devices, and I see the shriners commmercial a million times asking for donations.

Happens to me atleast once a year while working. I slowly do what head rotations I can stand and also take a muscle relaxer.(over the counter). Naproxen helps me and its non-narcotic.

Each time was from lifting something first thing in the morning without stretching.

They sell muscle relaxers over the counter? Do you also get the feelings of dizziness, headache, and unwellness?

Yesterday, I was sitting down relaxing and I heard my phone ring. For some reason I jerked my head forward really quickly and felt a pain in between my shoulder blades and neck.

Today I feel kind of dizzy and unwell. I'm already an anxious wreck because I hurt my shoulder and Im seeing a doctor for that today.

My anxiety has been awful lately after injuring myself. I hurt my shoulders, hips, eye, and a few others by accident all within the past month. I hardly get any sleep, wake up early, think about it all day, and do it again the next day.

Stuff like this always happens to me. I almost always get harsher side effects to medication and I guess this is no different.

I forgot to add, but my arm pain is pain I've experienced before. Like, I've had shoulder and wrist pain before and its as if the shot triggered old pain I haven't felt in awhile. Its weird.

Its like overall soreness from my shoulder to my wrist. It feels strained kind of like if you slept on your side on a terrible bed. Everyone else I know had their symptoms go away like 3 days later.

Might call my doctor but idk what they could do. My 2nd shot is on tuesday.

I don't mean being reckless. I mean carefully thinking about it, researching, making a list of pros and cons, etc...

Then you make a decision and it's wrong or you try to do the right thing and it backfires. You start to think, "Why did I bother?".

I've never seen it this bad before. Pretty much every comment section online is overrun with nonsense. Some of it is so outlandish you'd think it was trolling, but it's not. It's scary.

I remember loving the internet as a kid and learning things, but now it just makes me sad and angry.

I have my pfizer shot booked for next week. I heard that the vaccines have to be stored in ultra-cold temperatures.

Now obviously they have to be taken out to be used, but how do they know if the vial is good to use? How long can it be out of the cold before it turns bad? Just wondering because I freak out over stuff like this.

I got a bowl from subway today and the plastic lid formed a hole in the center. The food wasn't even that hot.

I also got takeout from two different japanese restaurants and both containers formed holes in them very quickly.

I found that strange since they say on the bottom that they are microwavable. I didn't even microwave any of them.

Do you actually need it removed?

I actually haven't seen my regular dentist since 2019 because of covid and I have been putting it off. I really need a cleaning so I'm going to make an appointment soon. The last time I went he said I should get it out but its not an emergency. He referred me to an oral surgeon who takes my insurance, but the reviews aren't great and others around aren't good either.
