I'm an all-or-nothing kind of person. I actually adore firearms because I think they are cool machines but owning one is a grave responsibility, one taken far too lightly by our present society which seems to think that guns are a solution to your problems, not a means of self-defense. People provoke others as a reason to draw or alleviate their feeling of being slighted by opening fire.

But I still want the ability to own any pistol or rifle caliber weapon I want, I stand by that. I can't change that about myself.

Uh, how often did you unplug your controllers back when Wired game controllers were popular? I only really unplugged them, when I took them to a friends, or when I took my console to a different rooom.

I didn't like people tripping over them and accidentally yanking my consoles to the floor.

I see wireless controllers becoming mainstream as the flashpoint where people en masse began seeing the benefits of gaming without media.

I personally think that we wouldn't be talking about going all-digital now.

Because being tethered to your console and having to plug and unplug your controllers also meant it wasn't a hassle to pick a game from your disc collection and put it into the console (since you were already over there to plug your controller in and turn on your console). Nowadays with wireless controllers being able to turn game systems on from a distance you also don't want to bother switching discs either, you just want to pick a game from wherever you're already sitting and start playing. No one cares about having discs now because it's just too easy to select a digital game to want to go back to the old way.

That's how I feel about it but rarely do people see it that way.

Just treat everyone like normal, it's not that hard. Don't think about what they are or aren't. I actually praise media that successfully portray a gay couple as unembellished as they might a straight couple. It's comforting to see a gay couple just being...a couple.

For me $70 games aren't a problem in themselves but what if you paid $70 and got a Cyberpunk 2077?

Or paying that much yet having huge walls of DLC thrust in your face afterwards?

That's my issue. We haven't improved upon the things that tended to cut into the value of a $60 game, why are they now worth $70 for the same hangups?
