Depends on what I'm doing with video length. If I want to consume content that isn't very interesting, but is relatively engaging (pet videos, people being stupid, small comedy bits), I prefer short form. Long-form/essay type content is better for stuff that can't be distilled into 3-5 minute lengths, and I usually put that on in the background while I'm doing something else.

Things fail when they failed to generate revenue. Big leg up for Tiktok is it being based out of China. You can be damned sure the government is helping it to stay afloat, if only out of national pride.

I just finished a playthru of Mass Effect LE, Mass Effect 2 LE, and Final Fantasy PR. Currently playing through FF2 PR. Let's see if I knock that off before Elden Ring comes out.

I really love Breath of Fire. It's a very generic, basic RPG, but I loved the colours, the setting, and the characters. The music has this airy, breathy quality to it that you really didn't hear in RPGs (or any game, rather) at the time. I fell in love with the Underwater music almost instantly. So good.

Looks like this turned out to be...not at all what he was saying it was.

Oh please. They detain him for a public intoxication concerns, yet do nothing about the protesters disrupting traffic and breaking civic bylaws while doing so. They had to actually be reminded not to disrupt emergency vehicles. They removed him because it was easy and convenient. That's it.

Chair was my roommate's old one. Mine broke, and I was using it in the interim because I was too cheap to spend $150+ on a good chair.

This is an old picture, like really old. That's more or less how I had my setup, though.

Decided to rearrange my desk to make it less claustrophobic and more functional. I moved monitors around, did some mild cable management, move my tower to a better location, and got rid of a shitty little LCD TV that I kept up there for my classic Mini consoles. The thing was garbage.

I think of it more as a proof of concept work. I'd love to see the game in its entirety in 2D HD, and I guess this is their way of seeing if they can retrograde it. I'm looking forward to seeing how Dragon Quest 3 HD does.

I believe they took the 2D HD engine to apply it to certain scenes in Final Fantasy 6 PR.
