I really enjoyed his stand up. He had some pretty crazy stories with the guys from Full House. His Zero to Sixty special has a great one about his 50th birthday with them in Vegas.

I don't care. They're entertainers. Their job is to dance for us and keep us amused. Their personal beliefs don't mean squat to me.

If they request/require it, I will without complaint.

I wore one in Vegas but ended up with covid anyway. I've been vaccinated too. I'm sure that's why my symptoms have been so mild.

Pork. The local Mexican supermarkets have this amazing pork belly chicharrones. Big, fat strips of pork belly, deep fried enough to make the skin crispy but not dry out the meat. So greasy but so good.

That's my birthday and that was a good movie. I rented it a few months back.

I think I do. But whenever I do actually have some, it's more of a "meh".

I tried watching it last night. I got about halfway before turning it off. I won't say it was terrible or I hated it. I just couldn't get into it. I was bored and kept fighting the urge to pick up my phone and play a game.

I love this feature. I always buy my tickets the day before so I can have the seats that I want. Back row, center. Always. Has to be the back row because I don't like people sitting behind me. About half the time some other jack ass is already in my seat and I have to get them to move. They always reply with "there are plenty of other seats available." Yeah, plenty of other seats for you to move to when you get out of mine. If you wanted to sit there you should have selected these seats when you bought your tickets.

Nope. That's super rare. Most security is just there as a visual deterrent, especially in a retail location. We are not allowed to get physically involved unless someone is being attacked. Observe and report. That's it. Even the actual loss prevention teams in most places are no longer allowed to put hands on a shoplifter.

Banning them doesn't do squat either. They just come back anyway. If you arentgoing to stop them from stealing then you aren't going to stop them from walking in either.

Here in California if the value is less than $950 it's a misdemeanor. Law enforcement isn't going to put much effort into a misdemenor. If law enforcement doesn't put in the effort there isn't going to be anyone to prosecute. Even if they did, it's just a misdemenor and not much would happen to the thief anyway. Store employees just about everywhere are told not to try and stop them. Many places even threaten to fire enployees if they get involved. The product is insured and someone getting hurt could be very expensive.

So yeah, don't use a weapon, don't hurt anyone and you can shoplift from the same store over and over and over without any real consequences, in most cases. I would see the same people coming in to steal shit on a regular basis when I was doing security at Home Depot.

Hybrid Heaven on the N64. My mother picked it out for me. I was a little disappointed when I first unwrapped it because I hadn't even hears of it. But I smiled big and didn't let the disappointment show. It was the thought that counted.

It actually turned out to be a really fun game. I had a blast. I've only found one other person who played this game and they were here on PotD. I think it might have been Kana.

I'm not actually getting anyone gifts this year. The GF and I decided to treat ourselves to New Year's in Vegas and after that's covered I just don't have the money for a bunch of fantastic gifts for loved ones. I'll go back to winning the gift giving game by finding the perfect gifts for them next year.

Typically, yes. Because I only shop for gifts for people who are important to me and I enjoy finding just the right thing these people. I don't participate in work place gift exchanges or anything like. If you don't occupy one of the very limited spaces in my twisted little heart, then we have no reason to be getting gifts for each other.

Mostly just canned tuna. I ocassionally pick up a few cans of chopped clams when I feel like making clam dip.

That was my takeaway from the article. It's just a low end, cheap iphone. But still totally an iphone. I didn't read anything that would convince an Android user to switch over because of it. There are already plenty of cheap Androids on the market for the low end Android users to pick up.
