It's not trash. It has flaws. Most characters are paper-thin depth, and the rushed text dump at the end is bad, BUT the story we DO get for the large majority of the game is very unique. The swapping of worlds is unique and fun. Getting all the characters to join you is fun. The story is decent, and I think it's better than FFVIII. I think if Chrono Cross existed on the N64 the way it exists on the PS1, Nintendo fanboys would hype it up like crazy and this speaks to the amount of awesome underrated RPGs were on the PS1.

Im comparing it to similar games of that time period, and I think its decent to good compared to the best jrpgs of the time.

Chrono Cross gets too much hate. As a sequel to Trigger, yeah, it has some flaws. As a video game experience, the gameplay is fun and the story is good enough. The game is literally better than FFVIII...by a long shot.

The flaws of having too many characters with paper-thin depth is bad...admittedly, and the text dump at the end is just lazy work. Also not a fan of the way you have to "beat the game right" with the battle system.

Valentine's Day is perfect for a newer relationship. It's when you're at the 10+ year plus mark that neither party seems to care anymore LOL

some people describe having:

• Randomly smelling odd things like Cigarette Smoke, garbage, etc where there is none

For me, it's the extra anxiety and I randomly smell cigarette smoke in my nose at random times. I cannot explain it, but it's very annoying.

It is sad, however, that the only way to play the classic old Windows 95,98/XP games is to essentially run a friggin virtual machine that runs the old Windows.

While I wish we could go back in time to the glory days of Windows 7, if you plan on playing newer games you're going to have to get Windows 10/11 at some point. There is no avoiding it.

I would think so. Management took advantage of this poor guy's situation where he desperately needed a job. They also took advantage of his mental state after being held at gun-point, which is an extremely stressful thing and can likely cause PTSD. The owners are scum.

You know, I'm actually a very nice person. If I really wanted to "fit in" with CE, nothing could stop me from making an alt and becoming someone else. Of course, I took the proper approach, and wanted to own my mistakes and learn from them and not do that, and in return, nobody seems to want to give me a little credit for that.
