In my experience, if it isn't from LG, Sony, or Samsung you generally want to stay away. Audio issues, screen quality, poor settings options...I've been burnt twice within the past 8 years or so by one each of a Vizio and a Westinghouse. Now I'm a snob with an OLED.

Vizio P series at least a year or two ago was in line with the top brands.

I haven't kept up too much lately on tvs but my recommendation is to make sure it has hdmi 2.1 and low input lag if gaming on it.

BTW bringing up something old that seems to have been completely forgotten about. If you remember way back with the old stimulus bill Joe Manchin killed several things to give people money in exchange for making 10k of unemployment untaxable retroactively...after many people had already filed taxes.

The IRS was going to pay people back that money, but said later they wouldn't be giving people tax credits that this exemption now made them eligible for and thus they'd have to file an amended return to receive those tax credits. So I filed an amended return in early June.

It is now late November. That return has not been processed. Now, I'm not hurting for money, but an extra $1000 would be nice either way. But if you look at things like the EITC, some large families could theoretically be shorted over $7000 in this situation right now.

The IRS went from mentioning that it takes about 12 weeks to process an amended return to "over six months" to now not even giving any sort of a time frame. Don't know if it is in forever limbo or what.

Uh me and everyone I know already received thus money and the IRS said not to file an amended return and they would do it themselves.

Like, we have seen no actual justification for Rittenhouse to have been attacked in the first place which doesn't make this self-defense. The later victims were trying to erroneously enact mob justice (which is why we have a legal system). Would they have been possible heroes if this wasn't erroneous? Sure. Perhaps. But, when you are wrong about it, you chose wrong.

Once you established the first shooting was self-defense. You don't have to die or be beaten because some other people erroneously tried to extract vengeance / judgment on you.

It becomes pretty much as simple as that. It's why he will walk on all charges besides possibly the gun charge. It's why the person who shot the person in the protest in Dallas walked who shot the person from his car window. It's why a lot of people walk in these situations. If you are creating a violent situation and becoming violent to someone, they are allowed to defend themselves. It doesn't matter if you chose to be somewhere. It doesn't matter if you drove your vehicle down the wrong street. It doesn't matter if you wore a skirt with your ass hanging out in a bad neighborhood. The details matter.

A lot of the best people in the Atreides arsenal are take ins. Duncan Idaho was basically an orphan to my recollection that was trained as a Swordmaster of Ginaz. If I remember correctly, he isn't from Calladan like the other Atreides are.

The movie pretty much lines up with the book breaks in the book itself. That said, the DUNE Miniseries continues to be the best adaptation. I was frankly a bit disappointed in it, and I would be really hard pressed to know how someone without prior knowledge of the series would take it because they don't really explain too much at all or do so at such a quick pace that it's hard to get much from it.

I feel like people here can't really complain when they were cheering the same way for McCain to be this person for Republicans.

The Democrats tried to put a lot of sweeping changes in under an INFRASTRUCTURE Bill. Including changes that are absolutely a poison pill for Manchin in West Virginia. Not much of this is surprising. I did think they would have gotten more than they are going to, but Trump himself spent like 3 years trying to pass his own infrastructure bill as well to no avail.
