There's numerous ways I could think of to make BotW a better game, but I can honestly say this never fell on my radar.

Honestly, considering it's practically a meme to have the PC in Skyrim to be able to call a timeout and be able to devour hundreds of cheese wheels (instantly) to heal themselves in a pinch, I'm probably just desensitized to this sort of thing.

The first Metroid Prime. When a game goes from near total "wtf, this'll never work" skepticism in concept/development to holding up amazingly well even nearly 20 years after its release, you have to admit it did a damn fine job.

Is this why gay people are still castrated and women don't have voting rights? Because people just have to accept how the world is?

That's exactly how change works though

We start postulating on how society should work, and then take steps toward changing it. Kind of the whole basis for the civil rights movement, which is still going on to this day.

Anyway the answer to the topic is yes. Trans men are men, trans women are women, and I'm bisexual so I'd fuck/date/marry either lol.

This has nothing to do with the point I was responding to, which was referring to having a smaller potential dating/relationship pool due to being trans (which, as an asexual person, is something I can relate to)

There is absolutely nothing to be done about things like that. You cannot simply force uninterested people to be interested in you; you can't affect any sort of "change" there. This is quite a bit different from things like teaching people it's not okay to be racist.

Nobody should have to "just accept" a shitty reality. Like, if people did that we'd still be hunter and gatherers because we'd have accepted that as our lot in life.

The world doesn't operate on "shoulds".

I'm asexual. That means I naturally have a significantly smaller potential dating/relationship pool, because of inherent incompatibilities with sexual people (which make up approximately 99% of the population if statistics are to be believed, although I would bet it's even higher than that). There is nothing I can do to change that about myself, nor is there anything I can do to magically change sexual people to be more like me or more "tolerant" of me.

Some people get dealt shittier hands in life than others. It just is what it is. You can whine about how this shouldn't be so, but that's really all it amounts to... whining.

Would you be open to dating a trans person?
I'm married to one. But...

Your potential date discloses to you at the very beginning that they are trans. Would you still go out on a date with them?
Honestly, probably not. The only reason my relationship panned out the way it did is because at first, as far as either of us knew, they were female. Had I known from the start that they were trans male, it's more likely no feelings/1relationship would have developed on my end.

Which isn't to say I harbor any sort of resentment over how things turned out. There's nothing to be resentful over (they didn't know either) and our relationship is great. We actually both consider it a blessing in disguise that they only discovered their trans identity after the relationship had already formed. It's just that for me, after the feelings/connection has been formed, the sex/gender/etc crap kind of stops mattering to me. It's still the same person that I love, and it's not like that's just going to suddenly change.

Good thing no one is advocating not punishing children when they do wrong.

The issue is that almost everyone I see outcrying against spanking either suggests no alternative, or suggests ridiculously lame "punishments" that aren't going to deter any sort of bad behavior. I would know; I was a kid once.

I'm not saying they don't exist; some people are a lot cleverer than others, at least when it comes to devising punishments. But when people just say "don't do this" and also don't say what to do instead, it's going to be a lot less effective at changing anyone's disciplinary tactics.

I've been having a pretty good time with this on PC, but the amount of crashes is pretty extreme. I can't figure out what's causing them, but seeing as how some others (but apparently not all) are getting the same issue, I imagine it's something to do with the game rather than my system. This PC is almost brand new and otherwise runs the game just fine...

Are the PS4 or Switch versions any more stable? I get that the multiplayer is way more restricted but I don't really care too much about MP anyway.

Residing in Canada, I at least recognize most of those. I don't like coffee (every coffee I've tried anyway has pretty much made me gag), but I'm pretty fond of Coffee Crisp. Despite the name, it's still 95%ish like a KitKat bar, with just a hint of coffee flavor.

Smarties are basically M&Ms but a bit harder. I'll eat them, but I prefer M&Ms.

I don't have a good comparison for Aero but it's basically Nestle chocolate bubbles. If you're familiar with pretty much any other form of Nestle chocolate, you'll know what this one tastes like.

For starters, just looking at the very first image, I can say I disliked the Instant Expert status of Rey and it had absolutely nothing to do with the fact she was female.

This person seems out of touch and I'd already be wary of whatever they would do from a creator standpoint -- that being said, I have no idea what this person is actually doing and I'm not terribly invested into Star Wars or KOTOR, so I think I'll still be able to sleep at night.

He's probably going to get some sort of "tut tut" punishment anyway because they have to set some sort of anti-vigilantism example, but I'm not going to weep for a child predator who seems certainly guilty.

People can say "he should have called the police" instead all they want. Ultimately though, I don't feel like the people who say this are really bothering to look into, or understand, why people might not go with the police-calling route.
