For example, Shakespeare was believed to know about 66k words.

Rapid money cults hit the 15 most common letters in 5 letter words, with rapid and money also putting those 10 letters in their most common positions. so, if you are only trying to get it in 6, i think it's mathematically the best open.

but, if you want the chance at twos and threes, or are playing hard mode, there are probably better first words.

I'll try that theory tomorrow.

i think i was on a coinflip, maybe 1/3 depending on how they do repeat letters.
does anyone know how they treat guessing a second copy of a letter after locking in the first?

my third guess was (stupidly) PROOF. if the word had been PROMO, would it have marked the second O as yellow? I'm guessing yes, but i'd like to know for sure. if yes, picked right vs PRONG.
