That exact same thing also goes for abortions, but I never hear left wing feminists talking about the fact that every single abortion doesn't just affect themselves, but also the tax payers as every abortion costs between 600 and 1,400 USD (where I live) of tax money.

So once again, I see much hypocrisy from the left. For example, where I live, some vaccine sceptic people use the feminist slogan "my body, my choice". Feminists are then real quick to point out that it's not just about their own bodies, without realizing abortions do not just affect themselves, either.
When the world's population lives inside someone's body, maybe "my body, my choice" will be the hypocritical gotcha you think it is. Someone walking into my room and shooting me to death would be murdering me and violating my autonomy. But if I somehow was connected to another person and lived off their body, them disconnecting me would be their body, their choice. And "doesn't taxation violate bodily autonomy" argument is neither cute nor intelligent. Are you against any taxes or collectivist action in society, or are you being hypocritical while accusing others of hypocrisy?

I legitimately don't believe you don't honestly see the difference between directly targeting an individual and their personal safety and questioning scientific or medicinal consensus. So it seems really disingenuous that you keep reverting back to this.
Pushing harmful lies is pushing harmful lies. This gaslighting bullshit people do of "We're just questioning consensus" is so tiresome. I cannot believe how quickly society stopped believing that objective reality existed. People actually believe facts are whatever you choose to believe. It's sickening and frustrating and I refuse to be gaslit into accepting this clown world.

It doesn't matter what anyone thinks, only what is. I miss when we publicly mocked conspiracy theorists and when loudly and openly rejecting the truth got someone labelled a fool. Perhaps both sides do hold some responsibility since clearly the lefty snowflake "everyone wins" mentality has rubbed off on a lot of people.

Not getting vaccinated isn't just a personal choice. When your personal choice affects other people without their consent, or even their knowledge, then that is not just personal. That's been the the problem. I don't think we need to protect people from themselves, only from others. No one deserves to be hurt in anyone's pursuit of following their personal beliefs. You have no right for your freedom to steal someone of theirs. There is one world with 8 billion people, not 8 billion worlds populated with one person each.

What happened to "The world doesn't revolve around you" and "Treat others as you would like to be treated"?

People believing bullshit is fine, but being okay with people doing things in the name of the bullshit shouldn't be acceptable. I used to be under the impression that was a pretty normal thought process. But now someone could kick the shit out of you because someone they listen to on the Internet told them they should and the goddamn world will celebrate this "free speech".

"I don't believe punching someone in the face will hurt them."

"My religion believes in face punching".

"Not punching people is exactly what the politicians in power want me to do. That's how I knew your face definitely needed punching."

Cool, have fun trying to be the arbiter of truth and what people should be allowed to hear or say.

You keep presenting this like if you're right that's the end of the conversation. That's not how the world works. People don't like being told what they can say or what they can listen to. In fact they rarely go along with it unless forced to at gun point. Sounds like a much more fucked up world than whatever the hell Joe Rogan is saying on his spotify podcast to me personally.
Then there is no point in this world. If there is no truth, then there is nothing.

No hyperbole, please. Just because some of his guests have been spreading fake information doesn't mean he is responsible for stupid people. To compare, left wing feminists have been spreading fake information about biology not existing and all differences between men and women to be the result of socioeconomic factors. But no one complains about that kind of fake information.

I think Alex Jones is a pathetic clown, but I still want have the right to listen to him to understand his arguments. What I don't want is a Stalinist dictatorship that decides what I should be allowed to listen to and not.
So if the elected government decides to run on an agenda of Alex Jones' lies, you'd smile and take solace in that, while people are suffering and dying, at least we freely allow beliefs, whether or not they are based in reality, unlike... Russia or some shit.

And of course you'd throw in some weak anti-trans hate.

It is so fucked up that people have been convinced that facts no longer exist and that we're just billions of people living in our own personal realities with our own personal facts. We truly are in a post-truth society.

Lol, I'd sue the shit out of them. That's how I'd feel about that.
What tangent? I don't get why people get so mad when I try to frame an argument in a personal way in hope of triggering understanding. Even IRL, it's so frustrating when you're trying to make a point and the other person just starts eye rolling and talking over you.

Spreading harmful lies is bad. If you wouldn't want to be harmed by them, then you should fully support no one being harmed by them. If someone agrees that it shouldn't hurt them, then there are two possible conclusions:

A) You do support censorship
or
B) You do not support lies and misinformation being spread and hurting people/society

Joe Rogan should be held accountable and legally liable for hurting the world with his harmful lies, just as if he was personally hurting you.

I don't get why conservatives, who gleefully watch on as private corporations exploit humanity's basic needs for healthcare through difficult and explotative medical insurance, think they have any moral high ground to criticize others for being dispassionate about the deaths of self-sabotaging conspiracy theorists.

I will consider the context and circumstances of every death I hear about and reserve every right to mock it if it was brought about by the decident's own stupid beliefs or actions, and I will be damn gleeful about it if that person's actions were directly causing substantial harm to our society. And I won't tolerate those pretending like conservatives don't do the same.
People will find every excuse to justify why everyone shot by police had it coming and how we're better off without them, but be flippant about a single crazy anti-vaxxer death and you're literally the worst person on earth.

This is the shitty world we live in. Where falsehoods are considered mere different opinions, and tangibly harming people with these lies is called "freedom of speech". Where calling out this bullshit is branded "censorship" and "fascism" since apparently freedom is a one way street that only applies to the people abusing it for personal gain.
