yeah i'll echo what others are saying. if you spend too long on the internet you'll go down some terrible rabbit holes (especially instagram and maybe twitter memes) of women openly talking shit about short guys - truth be told if you actually met some of the women behind these comments you'd likely not want to date them anyway as they probably have major issues of their own

you'll find plenty of girls in real life who prefer taller guys, but in real life there's far less dating by checklist. certainly you won't encounter many tall women being straight up mean to short guys or treating them as inferior. people generally aren't that evil and connect with a personality far deeper than over superficial shit

as someone who's never been prize eligible I always forget that the prizes are theoretically a big part of the contests

i made the top 10 once(with my only entry) and was also not prize eligible as I don't live in the US. in this day and age it feels like a bit of a cop out.

We did have a contest during the beginning of the pandemic.

I suspect what might be holding up the prospects of another contest is the acquisition of the site by Red Ventures, which happened near the end of 2020. The change in ownership means we're not sure if Red Ventures is even willing to approve the necessary budget needed to provide prizes to the top contest entries.

What is the total prize pool? Like $5k max right? I know it wasn't much

So today as I was driving on a main road a car starting inching out of an intersection. They have a give way sign on that street so with the right of way I decided to keep going. On another day I would have let them through but just felt tired and wanted to get home.

I moved a bit into the other lane to get around them, and thought little of it. They didn't even beep their horn. I then notice in my rear view mirror the passenger was filming me on a phone. I turned down a street and saw them continuing to film me, obviously trying to get my plate number

I don't think I was insane but there's definitely merit to the interpretation that I came across as unnecessarily dramatic or needy.

As tempting as it is to victimize myself I definitely could've reacted in a healthier manner

by sending 2 texts instead of 3 maybe. nothing to beat yourself up over though. people can go too far the other way with this stuff
