Let me be more clear, the only weird part is the ending, when Sharon (who up until now has been the voice of the viewer) ends up agreeing that school shootings aren't a big deal. The way the scene is framed is as if it's a positive realization for her. I'm aware that the behavior of everyone else in the episode is mocking Republican/American apathy about school shootings.

I remember watching an episode that isnt that old, the one with school shootings and Stan gets shot. Stans mom is rightfully freaking out as she has been the whole episode about how apathetic everyone is. At the end, she finally calms down and says maybe its not that big of a deal

I legitimately dont know what the message is supposed to be. It really seems like theyre saying we actually shouldnt take school shootings seriously because we cant do anything about them.

@DepreceV2 check out Pray Away on Netflix. Its a documentary that came out last year detailing accounts from people who used to be in the ex gay movement. Eye opening stuff

Was she among the students for an extended period unmasked? Or was this just for the photo? Lots of people remove their masks just for a photo then put it back on. They do that at my school too for big event photos.
