COD hasn't been worked out yet. Microsoft will acquire them next year so they probably haven't figured out what the new business model will be. We know at the very least that Warzone 2 (the next big F2P COD game) will remain multiplat.

M$ said CoD is gonna be xbox/M$ exclusive.

I think people are thinking this is a reaction to Bethesda or Activision when everything indicates that it's more similar to Minecraft.

Doesn't mean whatever FPS Sony is potentially working on is gonna be multi platform though.

Sony isn't going to let their potential FPS be multi platform when CoD won't be in 3 to 4 years.

It could be PS and PC only and it could compete.

CoD needs a competitor to make Activision step it up.

Sony needs to have a new FPS done in the next 3 to 4 years to compete with CoD since it won't be on playstation after that.

With the acquisition of Bungie and whatever other ones they buy up next, they very well could compete with CoD.

That's not gonna happen, Sony isn't going to let their games go on gamepass or vice versa.

Micro$oft can get fucked, I say this as someone who owns an Xbox one.

I hope Sony really buys up some major studios soon to stick it to M$.

Sony started buying companies before Microsoft. When shit was being run by Don Mattrick & Steve Ballmer, the only acquisition they had was Rare & Lionhead. During this time Sony bought up Naughty Dog, Guerilla, Sucker Punch, and many others. They continued to do so even after the Mojang purchase which was before Microsoft started buying everything like they are now.

I don't pay attention to what studios Sony buys up so I didn't know until someone brought it up.

I went to Cedar Point 6 times last season, there was thousands of people there but I never caught the virus. Of course I wasn't within 6ft of someone for more than 10 minutes at a time.

It's about as safe as it can be going to Amusement parks, covid is never going to end so life is about normal as it ever will be.
