I like artificer a lot, but it seems underpowered. Never tried bard

if you have a party that tolerates you singing or making puns all the fucking time, it can be amazing
i've never tried artificer myself, though i've seen some players do it in the few games i've DM'd

at the moment, my favorite class is Wizard, followed closely by Fighter and Bard

i did notice there is a trend in that show

like early on, when it's very episodic, there's a stretch of episodes which all have the same basic premise
that being they make contact with alien, have generally freindly relations, only for them to realize they're being betrayed and now they have to fight them
