Every few months, one of the resident trolls goes back over everything I've posted in the last month or two and marks everything while making outrageous claims misinterpreting my posts. Sometimes they get lucky, usually they don't -- which often depends on whether the mod reads the post in question, or -- seeing the length -- just decides to read the report. I've often had mods reference things that weren't even close to what I said.

The level of spin this time must be outrageous, given what the mod claimed.

It's just the normal kinds of bullshit I have to put up with from my "fan club," who also once made 50 nearly-identical accounts to abuse the mention system, which is why I was happy when they added the option to turn off mentions. (Which timeline-wise, I assumed was a CE visitor because he was the first to keep doing that and the alts all mirrored his activity, but they likely just copied him.)

Technically yes, yet if you watched an episode in the model you'd immediately assume it was one. It's indistinguishable.

they tend to allow developers to produce the games they want to with minimum tampering or demands for added microtransactions and shitty gimmick control schemes forced in, etc etc.

One of the few cases where they really put their foot down was over saying no to cross-platform play - and honestly, I tend to support them on that one. If only because I tend to feel like cross-platform with PC is pretty much one of the worst possible things that can happen to console gaming (FPSes being the obvious case for obvious controller-based reasons, but most online multiplayer games would suffer from the interaction of two radically different userbases, especially when one of them has access to mod/hack tools and other ways to break the experience - see also GTA Online on PC).

Destiny is one of the most played games on both systems, so we'll see if "too big to be exclusive" swings both ways. EDIT: Just read a more detailed report of them being an independent subsidiary that'll still do multiplatform releases.

Long grain brown rice is $13 for an 8 kg (281.6 oz) bag at Costco. Black-eyed beans are $23 for a 10 kg (352 oz) bag. Split evenly (4.25 oz of each), that'd be 8.5 oz for 47 cents. Those are also Canadian prices and include delivery (I'm just going by the website, buying in-warehouse would be cheaper), so that's 37 cents US if we go just by the exchange rate, and even less with the in-store discounts. The water cost is negligible (~$1 per 1000L here, you'd have to work to use more than 10L), seasoning costs are pretty negligible (especially if you buy in bulk; grocery store spice bottles are a massive ripoff), and you've got something more nutritious for less money. Heck, there's enough left on that budget that you could even throw in a bit of vegetable to spice things up a bit.
