I'm inclined to agree... assuming the person doesn't straight-up say "I'm making my score lower than I really think to counterbalance people who I think rate it high for the wrong reason."

I honestly appreciate Axl was so honest, and I think throwing out his 6 (what he really feels) is dumb. If you think something's a 1, by all means rate it a 1, but don't do it because of other people's ratings, you know?

I'm just bringing some balance. I truly do think it is a 6/10 story and a 9.5/10 gameplay game and an 8/10 if I had to rate the overall package.

Then keep the 6 and ditch the 4.

You're obviously allowed not to like a game and/or its story, but it's more than a little messed up to deliberately tank a score because you think other people are liking it for the "wrong reasons."

How do you burst her down after the pillar phase starts before getting killed by the ice? Even with maximum burst window Samurai I haven't come close, 15-18% at best. And Paladin can't DPS fast enough even invulning through it.

Use nothing special toward the end of the intermission to make sure Reassembled, Air Anchor and Drill are up and that you have Wildfire + hypercharge available, and at least two shots each of ricochet and gauss.

Then, Reassembled Air Anchor + two weaves --> Drill + two weaves --> Wildifre combo should do it. You need good gear though!

Not anything groundbreaking, and certainly not a candle to the original, but if you get past comparisons I found it enjoyable with enough to keep me wanting to know more.

Done that too but I prefer not to get yelled at when I turn my brain off since my only "effective" healing is Benediction and the DR from Temperance and Asylum.

The Fell Cleaves, though, you get five guaranteed direct crits, then more from Inner Chaos hits.

Are you going in duty finder randos and not a dedicated PF group? PF groups are so much smoother and are happy to accommodate dps WHMs.

Using an Irregular essence in Delubrum is just... mmph.

You need to use your defensives to not die to the raidwides but then you get like the 150k damage Fell Cleaves and it's straight injected dopamine.

You need to play WHM in DR with Deep Profane. Chainspell and Seraph Strike? 500k blood lily crits.

That's a fair assessment. It hits a bit harder if you're friends with Alisaie by proxy.

She's also the second boss of the first dungeon, and if you bring Alisaie in that dungeon, she will pull the trigger on the Limit Break on her every single time it's up.

So in my head canon for this game

Once my Paladin hit level 50, I started doing black mage on the side because I didn't want to over level a single class too much before hitting the expansions so I had a second class to soak up all the extra MSQ exp

However this was all intended from the beginning as freaking with the dark arts is what corrupts her and leads her down the path to eventually becoming a Dark Knight as my main class

Without going too deep into it, this might need to be revised once you learn how Dark Knight works story-wise in 14.
