Pegasus Knight as a class line is still really good, it just has sketchy units with bad availability in it. The birds are kind of the other way around, laguz gauge issues suck but man Janaff and Ulki are monsters for a while when they first join (and Tibarn is absurd but that goes without saying). They're not wyvern but in a vacuum I'd rather a given unit be a pegasus than almost any other class --- Meow! |

Nah it's definitely improved, at least in the WWE. Not perfect by any means but they have actual drug testing now (and some pretty big names have been suspended over it so it's not purely for show), don't allow chair shots to the head anymore and are way more willing to stop matches over injuries instead of just expecting guys to tough it out. During the Thunderdome era they were taking advantage of the empty arena to take extra safety precautions like using crash pads and just using camera angles to hide it. Rest of the wrestling world can get a lot sketchier though, no lack of indie guys smashing their heads into everything for no reason and AEW has had some pretty sketchy handling of injuries (the Matt Hardy one especially being disgusting) --- Meow! |

Jagr didn't even play in the NHL until stand up goalies were on the way out and butterfly was on the way in. His best years came after the change had happened and overlapped with the beginning of the dead puck era. He wasn't scoring because he just took shots at random shit goalies from miles away, he started as the high scoring era was starting to fade and dominated during the transition to an era of tight checking and ugly goals. He was also a legitimate first line player as recently as 2016 when he was 44 and still played another full season beyond that. I don't think prime Jagr would suffer from moving to a league his 44 year old self was good in. --- Meow! |

He can help that a bit by eating a mushroom, but when I eat a mushroom I don't grow and turn Super, I just feel nourished. Possibly also intoxicated if it's the wrong (or right?) mushroom. So I have to jump my entire height up just to clear the damn thing? No chance in hell I can do that. Add in having to aim and time it properly and I'm super fucked. In Mario 64 Mario can beat them with punches, but I'm not strong enough to knock anything solid enough to push a human being around (like they do when they run into him) back several feet through the air with a punch, not even close. So these things are actually pretty resilient. Maybe if the environment favoured me I could win, they're not very smart and will walk right into any trap, but if one just popped up in my living room I'd be fucked. --- Meow! |

A lot of Pokemon have barely functional movesets and major boss fights often don't even have anything to threaten you with because they're locked into level up moves. The inventory is awful, no way to check what moves do, the game actively lies in battle about move effectiveness because they didn't bother to program how to handle dual type Pokemon, etc. Lot of really shitty aspects stemming from the games just kind of being thrown together haphazardly. The world is fairly well designed and the basic Pokemon formula is a fun one so they're enjoyable overall, but their problems are pretty significant. --- Meow! |

| Panthera 08/25/21 11:01:09 AM #58 | First shot made my arm hurt like hell for two days, had pretty bad chills the first night (we're talking "need to hold a wall for balance when walking to the bathroom because I'm shivering so intensely it's hard to stay on my feet" bad) and felt kind of crummy in general but nothing too serious. Second shot brought arm pain but not nearly as bad and a bit of the crummy feeling but also milder, no chills that time, all around a lot more pleasant than the first one. This was with Moderna --- Meow! |
