The reporter asks what is the reason why he believes they were able to take over Afghanistan so easily. He responds that its because the former government was corrupt and that they have the support of the people. And once that support was shown they were able to take district after district with not much resistance because they had the peoples support

The spokesman also says that terrorist groups such as Al Qaeda will not be allowed to take haven in Afghanistan

Even under the American backed government, the government was an Islamic Republic. I don't think that would be compatible with the people of that nation. I think they can have a fair and equal society under the framework of Islam hopefully they succeed in it so there can be peace.
