For what it's worth after posting here I saw that there was another topic on the charges. Apparently the parents were well aware that their student was making school shooting threats and had been repeatedly called in to the school over it and then laughed it off and bought the kid a gun anyway.

They actually told the kid that they weren't angry at him when he got caught searching for ammo on his phone in class, he just had to be better at not getting caught.

If this is true, than fair next

Also, what exactly was the motivation? Was the kid just a piece of shit, or was he targeted by bullies with zero consequences?

That reminds me of the time I saw two dudes use a scissor lift as a fulcrum or whatever it's called

They had to reach a point like 15 from the narrow path they could drive on, so they laid a 24 ft extension ladder across the lift. Skinny dude extended the ladder and climbed out on the end. Fat dude sat on the other end and worked the controls.
