Andy however I believe always had good intentions. Sure, he handled the situation with the boat pretty poorly but it's not like Erin handled it any better when she was openly flirting with another guy while he was away. If anything I think it makes her look like the bad guy for being so quick to end things without talking about it first.

I dont like post-Karen Pam either, but she was not a failure. She was always insecure, and it showed, but she succeeded in small ways, and found true happiness in other areas.

Really seeing that people missed or misread these characters.

Neither Pam nor Roy are bad people, they're just a bad relationship.

Pam was clearly naive and inexperienced. She didnt string him along, either. She clearly wanted to marriage. Roy, if he cared about her, would have listened to her and not neglect her, insult her, humiliate her, have violent outbursts in front of her, flirt in front of her, etc.

Do people really think this? Roy was absolutely mentally abusive, he gaslit Pam many times, and in the end, even got violent. Pam gave him many chances. Her starting to lose feelings and gravitate towards someone who treated her better is the natural, real world consequence of treating people poorly.

Most of those games arent based on skill. I worked at an arcade, and learned that the machines pay out based on number of plays. For example, claw machine grip will be strong or weaker depending on the number of plays. Games where you have to hit digital targets are usually skewed to miss the final one.

If you consistently win, it usually means the difficulty was lowered, or the game was just busted.

Roy was a seriously abusive manchild who openly flirted with other women, neglected Pam, humiliated her in public, crushed her dreams, and denied her very simple, normal things that are expected in healthy relationships.

Pam owed nothing to Roy, and she deserved to escape that trash.

Ill save you the trouble and tell you how this usually works out

She has cold feet about her fiance

There is enough tension between you to take her mind off of her stress

If you break up with her, the tension will be gone, and two things can happen

a) she really loved you and the timing was just weird
b) you were just there for emotional support and now that she doesnt need it, you get pushed aside

and even if she does break up with the guy, youre gonna have to deal with her emotions, baggage, and rebounding issues.

You better be a mentally strong guy if youre gonna play this game.

Do people really think this without considering the facts of why he was like that? The show very clearly explains it and his change of character is justified tbh.

However I notice that people seem to forget how inconsistent Erins character is. At first she seems like a normal, if not somewhat quiet person. Then gradually we come to find out shes an idiot, but still acts like a normal person sometimes when the plot calls for it. Not to mention she contradicts herself at times, like not wanting to kiss Andy until his breakup with his then current gf was official, yet she had no problem kissing Pete before officially breaking up with Andy. I guess that rule only applies when its convenient for her?

What is it with people defending Andy and Roy?

Andy ran away and didnt say anything to Erin. He neglected her. He was gone. No way to contact him. He did it intentionally. And Erin is wrong for kissing another guy, who treated her better?

I dont mind Nelly, but what was with everyone being ok with her taking over the office? Wouldnt that raise alarm bells at HQ?

The later seasons were full of dumb stuff like that. Like Pam making up a fake position, Andy hitting rock bottom, Dwight shooting a gun in the office, Robert California, the cameraman plot.

Actually the whole Jim and Pam plot was stupid in the final season, because you knew nothing bad would happen. And literally nobody bought that trash with the cameraman. One of the dumbest plot devices since the final season of Dexter.

You guys ever play Spiritfarer? You play as Death, and you help people move on to the next life by dealing with their unresolved problems. Some are about abuse, some are memory loss, cancer, unfulfilled dreams, etc.

The one that gets me is the snake lady she used to work in a major gardening company, using chemicals to make some amazing products. She got cancer from exposure to the chemicals. She was a total hippie, and looked at her cancer as something to love, and nurture, so it wouldnt overtake her like her angry father had happen to him. She eventually ran away and bought some land, and fell in love with someone. They learned to grow gardens naturally, and they were better than any she ever grew with chemicals. Her partner died, and she was left alone with her cancer. In the game, you constantly need to save a suffering water serpent with tumors made of gems, representing her cancer. When she is ready to move on, she gives you a final mindfulness lesson, tells you that she tried to love her dragon and care for it to help it stop suffering, but that she was too tired and would let it finally consume her. She asks you if her partner would be proud, or disappointed. She hugs you, and she moves through the gate into the afterlife. I felt sad for days after that. Something about her story hit me hard. Especially how she was so empathetic, that she actually felt that her cancer needed to be gently nurtured as well.

3 is by far my favorite. The final case was wild, and it gives us a lot of lore for the medium families.

Spirit of Justice is next. Gave Apollo a lot of relevance, more lore, and a certain character returning was very nice. Plus, all the side characters were great.

This is basically the water source for most of the west. Keep in mind, it is a desert, and rarely gets rain. It relies mostly on melted snow from the rockies, iirc.

20 years ago, the lake was already drying up. I remember going boating with my uncle in the lake, and you could see how los the water levels had dropped by the rock-coloration. This is even worse, and it keeps dropping.

I dont know what Las Vegas is gonna do. They keep opening up new housing, and moving more and more people in.
