There Houses is a good game imo, but I totally understand being burnt out on it. IS is treating it like the next Fates. I hope they cool it with the TH banners for a good while.

Too much spam is never good, and I say that as a big Tellius fan who felt they were overdoing it with PoR/RD at one point.

Thankfully they eased off, but then the flood of Three Houses followed and shows no signs of stopping, especially when there's apparently still tons of characters from before the story-split, and *then* you have people wanting all of the characters in their post-Academy forms.

That'll be shame if they screw this one up. Hopefully it'll have more quality control since they still seem to somewhat care about Street Fighter, unlike Mega Man. Unfortunately, it seems like any gacha released by these big gaming companies are shit (EA, Ubisoft, Capcom, etc.).

It would be tragic too because a Street Fighter gacha could become the absolute king of collabs.

Like, seriously, is there any universe they haven't versus'd yet? Would be hilarious irony if Mega Man got a better showing in a crossover event than in his own gacha game.

It's not a "rat tail" it's a "leonine tail" which is typical when drawing classical unicorns.

For anyone who was thinking about playing Azur Lane: tomorrow's the anniversary and they'll give out some goodies (400 gems, a marriage ring, a 7-day quest to get a SSR ship of one's choosing, etc.) so it's an apt time to start. Not sure if you have to have an account made today instead of the 12th, so best get to work. =P

It occurs to me now the slight folly of joining a game for collab characters rather than the original cast; I have no idea which SSR I would even pick.

Same thing with that "wishing well" banner where I was stumped about who to give the focus (ended up just picking Massachusetts and Minneapolis randomly).

Not that I'm against collecting all the ship waifus (most of my gems have gone towards dock expansions), but I don't really have a specific high-target I want to pull for, and I've been kinda content putting time and resources into the ships I've been getting as just drops.

That might be due to the events that followed as well.

More specifically, the other Gerudo might have been supportive of Ganondorf's coup and possibly assisted in unknown ways, under the assumption that they would benefit as well and because Ganondorf needed them.

But when he got the Triforce of Power, he cut ties with them and that's why they're just sort of meandering around at their fortress because they got cast aside when they were no longer useful to him. Would also account for why they had little qualms with allying with Link; Paypack is a bitch, and there's a whole lotta bitches back there.

Interesting also is the altered fate of Nabooru due to Link's actions. I think she was originally just exiled in Adult Link's time after she was presumably caught conspiring against Ganondorf, but we find out in Child Link's time what she was supposedly doing that got her in trouble and our help in the Spirit Temple caused her to go from being just exiled to imprisoned/brainwashed for several years.

Yeah, the tragic irony is that Ganondorf was already making his bid for conquest (and already partially succeeded), so if Link didn't go for the Master Sword, what else could have been done at that point? Years-long guerilla war against the new Gerudo Empire?

...Wait, I'm not sure how many fans want *another* timeline split.

I recall that Ganondorf was making plans to try and conquer Hyrule regardless of what Link did, and the only reason history was changed is because Link provided proof of Ganondorf's schemes after being send back that last time, which resulted in Ganondorf's capture before he could do anything more.

If Link never went after the stones, got pulled into the future, Ganondorf would have eventually succeeded on some level anyway. Consider that in the "revised" timeline, Link has not yet helped the Gorons or Zoras, and the Great Deku Tree is still dead. That's all things Ganondorf did trying to get the stones to enter the Sacred Realm and failing that, he still crippled several domains and was likely doing other things to weaken his enemies.

Hell, the reason Zelda and Impa are forced to flee is because Ganondorf had progressed "plan B" (gradual coup of Hyrule) far enough after "plan A" (get Triforce) didn't pan out for him, and thus the sudden urgency for Link to get the Master Sword went from "stop Ganondorf before he strikes" to "stop Ganondorf before it gets worse".

For the most part faction only matters if their skills use it. Like some ships will buff others of their faction or self-buff if there are x number of their faction and a very few have a different or more powerful attack if equipped with gear from their faction.

For now you can equip your ships with whatever you have available. I didnt really start optimizing my gear or fleet make up until World 9. I just stuck whatever purple or gold gear I had (and of course blue and grey before I had those). Back when I started I found the gear stats very overwhelming. Even now I pretty much just go by gear tier lists online and let other people figure out the formulas. I mostly use https://slaimuda.github.io/ectl/ as it does a pretty good job of breaking down the gear for each ship. You wont have access to a lot of the specific gear for quite awhile, but lower tier versions work fine for quite awhile. Same with the ship tier list itself. I still use some tier 2 and 3 ships and even a tier 4 because I havent got around to maxing out better ones.

Not sure there's much else on the horizon I'm looking forward to aside from that Street Fighter one. Hell, the newest addition here (Azur Lane) was an already long-established title, and I'm still figuring out stuff about it after my initial stumbling around for the last event.

Like, does a ship's faction matter when forming a fleet or what gear you give them? For that matter, I'm not sure what half of these acronyms on gear even mean, or what ships should be using what in general. I'm a pleb and just handed out Air Radars and Repair Toolkits because "anti-air" seemed important with that whole "airspace control" mechanic and self-heals are useful in every other mobile game I've played so far.

And weapons, always with one green arrow and one red arrow so I'm never quite sure if I'm giving them something better unless it's a higher quality version of something they started with.

Blade Runner: Finn hunts rogue droids on Coruscant on behalf of the New Galactic Republic, and discovers that a sizeable number of people are actually droids and don't know it. He spends most of the movie trying to find out why there are so many "droid humans" when he ultimately reveals that most of the New Galactic Republic, including the Prime Minister, are actually droids. The film ends on a plot twist in which it is strongly hinted that Finn himself is a droid.

Gladiator: Guilty of being a droid, Finn is sentenced to the Tattooine combat pits where he encounters Rey, who has been hiding from the New Galactic Republic after she was to be arrested for "losing" the valuable shipment. Together, they team up and learn that Rey has Force powers as they win their freedom via the combat pits. Finn divulges that he is actually a droid, and so is a large majority of the New Galactic Republic. Rey then realizes that only droids would be spared if the Force-eating creature were let loose on Coruscant. Finn then realizes that he was hunting "rogue" droids who were planning to make this information known (to warn the humans). The film ends as they realize the New Galactic Republic is actually the Empire.

I'd watch that.
