because he has virtually no knowledge of film and constantly exposes this by generally viewing film through the purview of pop culture franchises

he's better than mauler but mauler apparently never learned summaries aren't supposed to be like 60% of your work and at least critical drinker only "generally" views film through this lens rather than 100% of the time, but still, we're talking a 2/10 compared to a 1/10

The thing is this: Many people here will insist that they aren't being racist by complaining about this, but they complain any time a black person is in a game. They'll complain about black characters playing white ones, they'll complain about original black characters being introduced in existing franchises, they'll even complain about fictional characters that aren't even consistently depicted at human beings getting played by a black person.

It's tired, nobody buys it, and everybody sees it for what it is. Continued denial fools nobody anymore. If you didn't do it at every fucking turn no matter how minor or inconsequential maybe people would believe you, but you couldn't help yourself. Lol.

So, as I understand it, people have judged the character's design based on an off-model screenshot, and judging by Youtube Like/Dislikes, nobody actually gives a shit, and this "issue" is entirely relgated to sweaty nerds online who consider the touch of a woman a mystery. I see, interesting.
