| BeastTamerLara 01/29/22 11:35:01 PM #15 | Someone went through a five minute turn that resulted in one monster with 3000 ATK that could negate spells/traps once per turn, and another monster that negates monster effects three times. Managed to play around that through some bait activations and abusing chain links so they couldn't negate the effects I needed, and clear their board, all this work resulting in me having my own negate monster on board. Everyone is just looking to use somebody else for their own benefit, and deep down don't give a fuck about anyone else's problems. It doesn't matter who it is, how much you care about each other, or how long you've been together. Absolutely nothing you confide to somebody else is off limits. Eventually, they will decide to hurt you, and they will do it in the most painful way they know how. They do not care about you. Some people have the energy to constantly engage in that nonsense, to manage the spider-web of fuckery that social relationships sprawl into. I lost it a long time ago. Put on a happy mask and nobody asks any questions. Only get as close to people as is required to achieve some material goal.
